I have tested music without beats and with beats bassino mod, the bassino sound better. I'm quite an enthusiast audiophile.

And yes ill add the free version of titanium backup in Dream X

And I'm not only talking about the bass being better, but this mod also makes the audio quality more clear and that's all I want for my xda frnds, which is to have the best possible audio quality straight away from the ROM without installing any more mods.

Senseless

Hi,
I'm a fan of senseless ROM (Prime) & from my experience, I always have to download other apps to replace the native apps come with ROMs.

I apologize if I bring up redundant options.

- I'd like to see a smart dial like TouchPal, which looks up last name, first name, phone number ect...I always endup downloading TouchPal because the native dial from a senseless ROM is not so smart.

- Text message app is something I also have to download. The native app can't seem to send contact(s) via SMS, but MMS which costs a bit more. Go Pro SMS is pretty cool.

- Gmail native app never seems to be able to push the email in time. So, I have to use something else called Maildroid pro.

- Music app: The best is PowerAMP since it can play by Folder. The native music app requires a playlist. heck, I have to add from 1 by 1 to the playlist & it's a pain.

- Power Control setting: should have Data on/off, Screen Auto-Rotate, Wifi, Bluetooth, Flashlight, Satellite, Airplane Mode, Auto Brightness.

Hi, I've just downloaded Prime5 to try out.
The lock screen gives me 4 options. This's what happening when I drag to:
- Camera (take pictures. So it works fine)
- Phone (take pictures. Not as what it's supposed to do)
- Messaging (Unlock. Not as what it's supposed to do)
- Unlock (Unlock. So it works fine).

Also, When I hold down the Power button, it restarts immediately but wont give me the option to turn off.

Please advice

Sounds like a bad installation. Check the MD5 of your downloaded file, and if that's good, superwipe and try again...

I recall this had happened to me as well once, moved to another ROM since but it's the exact same issue. I typically always SuperWipe before flashing stuff, but I can't say 100% sure that I had done so in that case.

Not really, I experienced the same thing and the installation was perfect.

If it was broken for everybody, maybe. But if it's only broken for a few, then perhaps it wasn't as perfect an installation as you thought.

Hi,
My phone is htc sensation XE & I successfully have done Root, superCID, S-off.

I re-installed PRIME5 with these steps:

superwiped.

EP3-Final.zip = MD5 == bffc5469361a87cfbe991f3c2b8dad9a > Copy > Browse > EP3-Final. Matched!
PRIME5.zip = MD5 == 37ace331b04cc6056ce948b66f19a454 > Copy > Browsse > PRIME5. Matched!

Installed EP3-Final > setting up the phone > Right where I change the Time Zone, it says "Unfortunately setup has stopped". & it brings me back to the beginning of the setup. So I redo that, but skipping the Time, Timezone, & Date setting.

Boot the phone. Holding down the button & it restarted immediate without giving me option to turn it off & whatnot.

Yanked out the battery. Went into the Recover.

Superwiped again.

Installed PRIME5 (Apply settings from above).

& Couldnt get pass the white HTC screen.

Yanked out battery > Recovery > SuperWiped again > Install from sdcard > PRIME5.zip.

& couldnt get pass the white HTC screen again.

Guys, after next week, where Extreme Sensation "Dream X" (re-based from latest sense 3.6 base and fully updated to tweaks) would be released, Extreme Sensation CAOSP "Diamond" (Custom.Android.Open.Source.Project - based on CM9) will also be released. And to not make it confusing, i will make it two separate forums.

So guys, please keep the opinions coming and please note i wont use AROMA as it will make the file size massive, which is not my plan from the beginning.

audio distortion on video recordings

i use this rom as my daily driver and i absolutely luv it. i've been using it for abt a month and a half and i just used the video recorder for the first time yesterday. the video is great but the audio is a bit distorted on playback. has anyone experienced this? if so, is there a fix other than the standard volume control?

Yes, I have the same issue all the time. Sound is terrible (useless) if you are trying to record live gig or a party or something just loud.

Unfortunately this issue persists with majority of HTC ROM's.

I believe thelegendarylegend could fix it!
