Problem with Calendar/ Tasks

I am trying to add a task to my calendar, it saves but it doesn't show in my calendar or in the tasks list.
Are you having the same problem ?
Is it a bug ?
My phone is running Kit Kat.

Are you running stock kitkat? And if so are you using the stock calendar app?

Weird. Is your phone rooted or anything? Otherwise it should show. Only thing I could think of is something not syncing in your account profiles.
