Hey, thanks for the info. I'll stop twisting your arm and why would you post that stupid crap here. That isn't my version and I have the correct current version that doesn't throw that message.

How do you know it doesn't work, have you tried it with the correct build prop? Or are you just getting the unsupported message.? Never heard off anyone having that issue

Before you switch back, load your card, wait for the confirmation from the Google that your card registered(or something like that), and select the card.
THEN, switch back to i317, reboot.
Head out to MickeyD, 711, or CVS to try out.. you will AMAZE those cashiers... LOL :laugh:
I get the Not supported pop up message and then wallet closes

Okay finally got up and running.
Started with the method in the op then used the updated MoDaCo method in addition (sure it's a couple more steps but it works)
Here's what I did.
1. Flashed part 1(didn't go for me)
2. Flashed part 2
3. Changed build. prop for Nexus (requires reboot)
4. Got from playstore
5. Renamed MoDaCo file and placed it in system/app folder using root Explorer
6. Changed build. prop back (reboot again)
7. Done
Hope this helps anyone else that was stuck. I'm on the att stock rom with cwm recovery.

It is the apk file in the link above...first post. I was able to get my AT&T Note II (cleanrom 1.5) using dafoxs method but had to delete apk file from system/app after flashing part 2 and replaced it with the modaco apk file...funny thing is...google wallet worked for me after flashing to part 1 and changing build prop...but once i changed back the build prop..the device said not supported. So i finished the rest of the steps and then replaced the modaco file in system\app...
I was able to purchase a bag of M&M's at the vending machine.
Do you think you will update to latest wallet apk released 17APR?

I've been trying to do the same thing to the new one. Google has found a way to screw with us. It just isn't working yet.

dafoxs, once I get the new SIM card will your two step method work with AOSP ROM's?
There is some important info in the general section when using the new sim card. If rooted some real bad things can happen. So, I'm not going to even attempt using it. It's all yours choice.

24Transparent or inverted wallet depending on what rom your on.
Most have a working wallet first.
For folks that have wallet working already do this
Rename your current wallet in system app to GoogleWallet.apk.back
Drop the new one in system/app
Fix permissions
Reboot
Done

Part 2
For those that have never had a working wallet on there phone do this
Once you get it working and want the new one, do part 1
Read instructions very carefully and download the 2 files before starting
YOU ASSUME AND TAKE ALL RISK
YADYADA
1 . DO A NANDROID, reboot and turn nfc on
2. Flash part 1

3. You will get a few nfc crashes and some slow screens, just keep hitting ok.
4. Open Google wallet and wait for it to do its thing. Again keep clicking ok on the nfc crashes. When Google wallet is done you will either get a wallet fc or a screen saying you don't have network connection.
5. At this point navigate to system/app and DELETE the wallet apk
6 . Navigate to system, open the build prop in text editor and change these 3 lines to exactly:
ro.product.model=Galaxy Nexus
ro.product.name=yakju
ro.product.device=maguro
This will automatically create a backup of the original buildprop
7 . reboot
8. Download Google wallet from the market
9. Open wallet and let it do its thing. Wait for the fc or network error, click through any nfc fc.
For some of you, it may just work at this point.
You're done then
10. Once you get the wallet fc or network error. Navigate to data/app and DELETE the Google wallet apk.
Reboot into recovery and flash part 2

11. Open Google wallet and let it set up. It may take some time.
12. Once your all set up, navigate to system and delete the buildprop.apk and rename the buildprop.bak to buildprop.apk. If you don't see the bak one edit the existing one back to

Any other carrier, I have no clue. Be smart and keep a copy of the original someplace safe

This is the market version of wallet. It is the one you put in data/app. Side load it there, fix permissions, reboot. Start app, it won't work. Just open it for a few seconds and continue on with the steps above
