Default Enable XBox 360 Wireless Controller for GTA3/Vice City (Flashable Zip)

Here's a flashable zip that will enable you to use an XBox 360 Wireless Controller to play GTA3, Vice City, and any other games that support USB Controllers(hopefully). You will also need an OTG Cable and an XBox 360 Wireless Controller Receiver, like this one. I found a Chinese knockoff for $12 on Newegg that works just fine.

I found the original fix in this thread for the Nexus 7, and decided a flashable zip would be a lot nicer, so I went ahead and made one. It just adds the proper keychars and keylayout files.

Refer to the above thread for more details about how it works. I tested this on my Xoom running cm10, but hopefully it will work no matter what rom you're running.

Do we still need to manually map any buttons with other apps e.g. USB/BT joystick centre? I'm a bit unsure

Not sure, really. I mean the controller works in android generally, you can use it on the home screen to select icons and run them, without even needing to use the zip I provided. GTA3, Vice City, and Max Payne are the only games I've tested it with.

This flashable zip is for the Xoom - isn't Xylon only for the Nexus 4? I wasn't able to find anything about Xylon for the Xoom. I'm pretty sure you need to use an updater-binary that's specifically made for a device, so maybe that's why you're having trouble? You should be able to get it working by manually adding the keymap files per the instructions on the Nexus 7 thread.
