Sorry with the plethora of replies, but it looks like

wl12xx_platform_data.c and wl12xx.h

Were not in the original released source

Between the 2.6.35 GB and 3.0.16 ICS kernels, the wl12xx driver was completely rewritten:
2.6.35

3.0.16:
http://lxr.linux.no/linux+v3.0.16/drivers/net/wireless/wl12xx/

Those are there in the standard linux kernel. Haven't diff'd to see if there are any changes.

Is this what has been needed to make development complete? As in, could this lead to fully functional aosp ICS and sense 4.0 roms?

only the drivers are useful. We will strip them out and put to the AOSP code and roll.

If you look at the thread "new approach to get htc to listen" you will see that the drivers are there but they are commented out by htc (masked)

I don't have a kernel build env setup, nor a dev amaze to test, but looking at the source, it seems that they should be. But then again, after trolling the GB source, it seems like they were there all along as well.
