Hello, I bought a new samsung galaxy s4 mini i9195. I rooted the phone and flashed a rom KITKAT CyanogenMod11-Android-4.4-Kit-Kat-for-Samsung-Galaxy-S4-Mini-LTE-and-3G. In stock ROM there showed 8 GB internal storage. After flash this unofficial ROM it shows only 5.33 GB. I need to fix it. Please help.

stuck with 'Samsung log Screen "

i am not able cross over that boot screen.

The steps i followed.

1. opened Odin_v3.09 .

2. under AP tab i select recovery-clockwork-6.0.4.6-serranoltexx.tar

3. i uncheck F.Reset time

4. and finally i hit start.

5. i got sucess message

6. i restarted my mobile and press ( power + volume up + home)

7. here opens Recovery bit
set warrenty bit : recovery

8. then it leads to CWM - based recovery V6.0.4.6

9. under that i choose install zip

10. under that again i choose zip files/storage/Sd card 1

11. From this i choose S4Mini_RootKit_v2

12. it shows scuess.

after restart it stuck with 'Samsung log Screen "

There is nothing wrong with it. TouchWiz needs internal storage to be placed on. it uses more than 2.5GB from the total of 8GB.

Go to Recovery mode and delete cache and data.

That not a good sign. Can you still enter custom recovery? If you can wipe all cache (including davilk) and data folder again. If you still stuck at the Samsung logo, it means you soft bricked it. You can only flash stock firmware with ODIN and take it from there.

It will never be 8GB. The operating system occupies space on your storage which is why it uses that space.

So it is right. I noticed that if there was stock rom it showed 8 gb in the usage and the yellow part for the system was 2.5 gb. And when I flashed kitkat rom the yellow part for the system wasnt there. It starts with the green color witch is for apps.

low internal storage

My s4 mini is currently left with 300MB in internal storage so I move all the big apps which are as big as 1GB to my SD card but my internal storage is still stuck at 300MB.
Can anyone help please?

Try using a storage analyser app with root access like "disk usage" to find out where all your space is being used. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.diskusage

I use a couple of Xposed modules like "Xinternals" to move large ODB files to external SD, but with this Android still thinks it's on the internal even though it's not. Still got to figure this one out.

There is also an app called "link2sd" https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.buak.Link2SD
BUT this app is a tricky one to use and may have bugs depending on which Android your using.

I'm still experimenting myself, but your best bet is "dusk usage" and find out for yourself what's happening.
