I was able to get MMS working by using this post as a guide and also putting the VZW MMS APN settings in GoSMS

http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1525427

Install GoSMS pro. Then backup your sms data using the app function.

(I think you need to be in GoSMS Pro mode for this)

Now using titanium backup delete data for:
-[SMS/MMS/APN]
-[SMS/MMS preferences]

Now reboot and then restore messages from GoSMS pro.

You may lode you previous MMS photos when you restore.
That's what I'm talking about! Thanks! This is what the dev sections used to be like, not for general, useless comments. Thanks again!

Try flashing this over 3-13. Mms works for me.

Sent from my Incredible 2 using xda premium

I did flash 3/23 over 3/13 and it didn't work for me and it seems it didn't for others as well.

My general useless comments have included me uploading the apn files that fixed mms in the first place :) in a few threads I've explained how to fix mms in aeros roms. Sorry I suggested you try a flash over. I shall refrain from helping from now on :)

Wasn't talking about you but I'm sure I don't need your help much any how, and I don't go to other threads concerning this ROM which makes no sense.

I had posted the fix before the thread was made

Sent from my GT-P7310 using XDA Premium HD app

I don't go to that general thread. Before Aero posted this up here, I followed him on rootz. Thanks for your help and all, was just stating that your fix, didn't fix MMS for me and apparently for others as well. Now this thread is turning into another general discussion for no reason. Sorry to Aero for that,

open it and choose new shortcut

Evan,

I just made a small donation (sorry it couldn't have been more), just to show you some support. Rom 3/23 is outstanding. I haven't had one issue. No FCs, no reboots, no slow downs. MMS works fine for me without any adjustments. I'm running it with Apex launcher and I couldn't be happier. Thanks for merging with CM9.

I have used every (non-sense) ICS rom and in my opinion, this one is the best. Thanks again and keep up the good work!

I just wanted to say: This is by far the smoothest and fastest 4.0 rom for the Dinc 2 I have seen so far.

All of these builds are improving by the day!! Thank you to all of our Developers!

Well this neat. The camcorder actually seems to work when you use the front-facing camera, as in the button is able to be pressed/stopped and then you have a working video saved. The quality appears kind of grainy, since it is just the ffc, but it's cool nonetheless. Can't wait to see the rear camera working.

How does Angel Camera know to turn the led's on?

The LEDs should work (i.e. the Torch should work and everything else). The only issue is that the flash settings aren't properly configured in the camera hal yet. My guess is that it is using the same API that is used by the Torch app instead of going through the camera hal.

Thanks :) As a poor grad student every bit helps!

I am going to try to upload a new build tonight that fixes the hq youtube issues.

Awesome work Evan!

I'm running the 3-23 rom and Bluetooth is the only outstanding issue for me (other than what's already been stated, camera flash, mms, etc).

BT audio for music works fine.

INCOMING phone calls work fine over BT.

OUTGOING phone calls do not work. First, I can't hear anything over the speaker. If I switch it to come through the phone headset, I can hear the other end, but the mic still doesn't work.

Other than that, I'm loving the rom. Keep up the good work!

Same here. Drives me crazy. I didn't realize it was just outgoing, though that does seem to fit what I've seen as well. Wish I knew if that was a dinc2 specific thing or all versions of CM9. If it's all, I can't imagine that bug will stick around long.

I've taken to turning off wifi unless absolutely needed though, due to the horrible battery life.

I'm at 76% after 11 hours and wifi has been on all day. Normally I'm at around 50% but today has been a good day..this is all with the extended battery.

Hi, I decided to start an official post here on XDA too since the ICS thread over in general is getting rather large.

    Downloads:
    ROM:
    GApps:
    Directions:
    1. Wipe Data, Cache, and system
    2. Flash the ROM
    3. Flash GApps
    4. Reboot into the system (first boot will take several minutes)

If you are having issues flashing, try a CM9 based CWM:

    What's Currently Broken:
    • Face unlock may not work until FFC has been used in the Camera app.
    • Market download issues: su, and then killall drmserver in the terminal (needs to be done after each reboot if you are still having issues)
    • ... Let me know what else :)

If you like what I do, hit thanks or donate to a poor college student :)

    Changelog:
    2012-03-23
    • Resync with CM9 upstream (new boot animation and some other stuff)
    • More work on video decoding (but still not 100%)
    • Added Torch
    2012-03-27

    • GSM might work?
    2012-03-29

    • If you have too many issues go back to 3/28 build
    2012-03-30

    2012-04-19
    • Updated to latest CM code
    • Included some Advanced Dialer Settings link
    • Built with Sun/Oracle Java instead of OpenJDK. Also, set javac to target 1.6 instead of 1.5. One of those two made things fast :)

    2012-05-07
    • Latest CM code (Theme manager, but currently only System theme).
    2012-05-13
    • Latest CM code.
    • Rotating softkeys should stay lit after rotation (may still need autobrightness).
    2012-05-16
    • Latest CM code.
    • Rotating softkeys should stay lit even without autobrightness.
    2012-05-22
    • Latest CM code.
    • Apollo music player
    • Built in kernel fixes Unity3D touchscreen issues (Temple Run should work with built in kernel). I'll update my kernel when I get the chance soon :) EDIT: v10 should have working Unity3D touch fixed.
    2012-05-30
    • Latest CM code.
    • Lockscreen widgets (weather and calendar events)
    • Audio fixes (should help with speaker phone and maybe bluetooth)

    • Latest CM code.
    • Camera flash should work (thanks to CondemnedSoul and whoever found the permission error)

So I got jellybean/CM10 to build, but there are still lots of issues (no audio, softlights, or sensors). But 3G and GPS and most other things seemed to work.

    Kxqee.png

I'm still really busy with other things, but jellybean will definitely happen for our phone :)

EDIT: I'm uploading the build to a cm10 folder in my goo.im hosting, but you need to rm camera.msm7x30.so, lights.vivow.so, and sensors.vivow.so in /system/lib/hw/ for it to boot.

Here are some gapps that worked for me:
    http://goo.im/apps/teamgummy/gapps-4.1.1-Kejar31-20120713.zip

And my upload will be in http://goo.im/devs/aeroevan/cm10/ but it will take about an hour to finish uploading...

Hopefully they release source soon. I saw HTC one got source release.

Sent from my Incredible 2 using Tapatalk 2

That still isn't for our device :(

I'm working on using the new camera blobs, but even those can't just be dropped in. I had to add a few camera parameters in frameworks/base but the preview isn't starting... http://pastebin.com/ZsxsGHcm and the camera app crashes :(

I have a few ideas, but I had a phone interview today (which went well) so I couldn't break my phone ;)

I've also been working on getting low power audio (LPA) working, but there are still a few bugs there too.

I just sync'd and am doing a fresh build now, but don't expect any magic :)
There were a few display hal updates, but nothing too big.
    16
Are we going to see anything done with Jelly bean and this rom?

I'll definitely do builds once I get a chance, but I've been really busy lately :(
