You guys should be able to use everything in my theme pack except Rosie and frameworks. Screen on sms,working modded settings, blah blah blah.

I have gotten it to work with a few different bases. It seems most apps are interchangable between bases as long as os is same. This seems to only work in reverse though,so a lower based app might not work on a higher base(not always the case).My Rosie has no landscape yet, just the nav dock from sense 5. And I have no apm/eqs. This my first sense phone. So I'm still learning the environment.

The apm is a framework/smali thing, primarily android.policy.jar and framework-res.apk (and I will tell you right now that smali is a huge pain in the a** when you first start out), not sure about the drop-down eqs since I've never really looked into trying to make one. Most apps in /system/app other than things like SystemUI.apk are interchangeable, but for framework you're gonna have to re-port it for different bases.

This is my first sense phone (I've had sony phones in the past) so this is all pretty new to me too. Good luck going foward

for the life of me i was unable to get my gmail to update with the 4.3.0 with sense 5 options. i dont' know if i deleted the wrong .apk out of the .zip or what, downloading the regular 4.3 now.

btw i use gmail 4.2 flashed over top of the regular.

you could include it in your builds? it includes pinch to zoom, full page email viewing, etc..

edit: duh 4.3 is out.. doesn't pinch tozoom tho

I have the Sense 5 ROM build, and pinch to zoom works for me on Gmail.

I flashed 4.4 and noticed I have two message applications (Messages+PRIME, and Messages). Are these two conflicting with one another and causing issues with texts? Or am I good? I tried deleting "Prime" but it removed messages entirely

I flashed this (Sense 4 Lockscreen), nothing happened. Still have the AOSP lock screen. Im using the Sense 5 Elements ROM btw.

Any tips?

EDIT: NVM, I reflashed, it worked.

Iirc its in personalize.. I had my screen set to "no lockscreen" when I flashed sense 5 and when I rebooted I had to change it in the personalize settings...

On a weird note... Messaging is taking a big chunk of battery with mms wakelock? What's up with that? I just tried a clean flash and wipe cache/dalvik

Upgraded to v 4.4.0 and all is good. I took the Apollo/Noozy option at install and the sound was a worry - each time you selected an option in Noozy I almost was sent deaf - even on low volume. Really distorted and poppy sound until you turned the volume down then up. Kinda strange.
Back to Walkman music player with the stock sound enhancer. Sounds great to me with settings similar to those under 'Audio Tips' in the first post.
Also I like the sense 4 font as it seems better suited to our device. The sense 5 font looks kinds squashey. Maybe something to do with our screen's resolution. Easy fixed with the sense 4 font zip in the add-ons section.

Can confirm that the bugs with pin/password and power saver are indeed fixed. Everything works great.

Didn't see any issue with 2 messaging apps as reported by @HTC_Phone, but I wiped system/cache and dalvik prior to flashing.

The message app from my pack,was named +Prime. Just rename it message.apk . I had it like that to match new AT&T base names. A few others have same +prime on the end. Rename them as needed for your rom.:thumbup:
My installer corrected this so no-one may have notified before.

Just wanted to let you know .Sense 5 elements rom. Calender.apk needs to be removed. IT might conflict,with calender+PRIME such as no sync.And quick settings apk needs to be in system app or it will fc on reboot options.Other than that this thing rocks.

i'm bout to download and clean flash.. again.

so you say, delete calender.apk from .zip, and move quicksettings.apk to apps/system?

EDIT: working within the .zip is a bit tedious. i'll be surprised if no data was corrupted during all that rezipping. flashing now

EDIT2: all went well. deleted calendar.apk, seems to be fine. downloaded the most recent quicksettings.apk, dumped it in system/apps, went well. doesn't show the ability to dock in the pulldown menu anymore, but whatever.

EDIT3: power setting is missing from the settings menu? how am i to check whats eating my battery lol
