[Q] the Phone light are out, can it be software..?

ok to be honest it's my Girlfriend's phone Xperia X8.. not mine.. mine was Samsung Galaxy mini..

well.. let me start then.. just act like X8 was mine..

my x8 was fall from my cardboard.. like usually it was teared up into 3 pieces.. Back Cover, battery and the phone it self.. i attached battery and the back cover..

when i turn on it.. it's all black.. nothing showed up.. i remember well where the music icon is.. it plays..! really no kidding,, the sound are up.. i can hear the music well..

i tried go to the sony ericsson.. they said "the phone are dead.. we can't help it" what the..!?

i was wondering.. my x8 are stock.. really i never done anything to x8.. is it possible when i flash it to 2.3.x or other custom roms.. the light will back on..?

Unlikely. That rather sounds like as the phone took some physical damage from the drop. Your best bet is to see a phone shop and have the service technician take a look at it.

In best case it's just a lose cable, in worst case it's a broken component board (in which case a repair may exceed the worth of the phone).

lose a cable..? you mean there was a cable getting off..?

i thougt so.. how much for repair that..?

sometime we go to a lil shop.. they said the LCD were kinda problem..

maybe ma and my GF will go to a phone shop again.. and ask it how much worth.. ehhehe
