All default apps can be downloaded here . Use Root explorer , copy your required app to system/app after that tap on that app for few seconds select permisions and check all 9 options , reboot your phone and app will be installed.

There wasn't enough things to review on SimpiliGio+ so i mad Mixture of SimpliGio+ and GioProV1.3

Don't like ADW Launcher ???? No Worries , Download this Touchwiz default launcher
extract it and copy to you sd card , Now copy TouchWiz30Launcher.apk to system/app and set permissions to all 9 boxes .
Now delete launcher.apk which is ADW and reboot instently.Your default launcher will be installed.

Download ODIN 4.42
NOTE: Always do a fectory reset before and after flashing to avoid glitches.
1. Extract and Run Samsung S5660 Galaxy Gio ODIN 4.42 Downloader on your Desktop.
2. Open ODIN and Click OPS button and select and load: Gio_v1.0.ops
If you want to flash single file(.tar) click on Single package and locate the single .tar file in single package option . skip to step 7
3. Click BOOT button and select and load: APBOOT_S5660xxxxx_CL940762_REV03_user_low_true.tar.md5
4. Click PDA button and select and load: CODE_S5660xxxxx_CL940762_REV03_user_low_true.tar.md5
5. Click PHONE button and select: MODEM_S5660xxxxx_CL928654_REV03.tar.md5
6. Click CSC button and select: GT-S5660-MULTI-CSC-Oxxxxx.tar.md5

download root gb updated.zip file. and copy to SD card (not in any folder)
1. Shutdown your phone.
2. Put you phone in recovery Mode(press: Home button + Power button toghether)
3. In recovery mode, Add Update from SD-card.
4. Search for the root gb updated.zip file on your SD-card
5. Run the update
6. Reboot
Phone will be turned on , An App SuperUser will be added , its mean you successfully done rooting , now you must be thinking you have done rooting and nothing really changed, let me tell you my friends its the first step real thing begins after this , read the whole thread and you'll find much more things than you imagined.

1. Insert the memory card in card reader (don't use phone for partition making)
2. Open the "Partition Wizard"
3.Move/Resize Right-click on SDCard and choose Move / Resize
4.Select the partition size ((Don't have to formate complete card just resize)
5.Confirm your choice to "OK"
6.Right-click on the unpartitioned space
7.Click "Create"
8. A warning message appears, click "Yes"
9.Choose "Create as Primary"
10.Patrition type Ext2
11.Cluster size 4Kb Cluster size 4Kb
12.click "Ok"
13.click "Apply"
14.Finish
15.Now you can insert the card into the phone

How to Enable a2sd darktremor and what is a2sd darktremor?

NOTE: a2sd darktremor does not work on most of Stock Roms, For Stock Roms you will need a flashable modified boot.img file you can request on Thread for your Rom or download already posted one , This Tutorial is about how to manually enable a2sd darktremor , Although some of Custom Roms can be by Default a2sd darktrmor enabled , but most of times you have to enable it manually, and almost every latest Custom Rom /Stock rom can support a2sd darktremor, so just enable it using this tutorial.

What is a2sd Darktremor and what it does?????
In simple words ,a2sd darktremor let you install your all apps on sd card , so in this way internal memroy stay empty and phone perform better.

This is Darktremor Apps2SD, a multipurpose program that primarily allows a user to execute applications created for the Android OS on their Secure Digital card (with the proper setup...more on that later). Ram Optimizer Script by Juwe11 all cradit goes to him.

This script will make your RAM in the best optimization, the best optimization means the best balance between free memory, multitask, speed of launching apps and system speed. It means that you'll still have enough free memory (you'll have free memory as much as you need, because it is not good if you have really a lot of free memory, because Android's work with memory is different from other OS) and you can fully use your multitask, my script doesn't kill your app automatically when you minimize it. Your system and switching between apps or launching apps will be very fast.

Now you don't have to use Task Killer!

2. Method for creating

1) Download attached file (Juwe_RAM_Script.zip) unzip it and put it to /system/etc/init.d (if don't have a folder init.d create new folder using root explorer and name it init.d) with Root Explorer and set permissions to 777 (check all the empty options)(rwxrwxrwx), if you have in your init.d other script for RAM management for example Darky's rambooster, so delete it

2) Reboot your phone

How would you know that script is working ??? Download AutoKiller Memory Optimizer and check values:
LMK values
10MB, 16MB, 24MB, 48MB, 56MB, 72MB
VM values
50, 10, 5, 10, 90, 5
...

Updating failed using KIES ???
1. If more than 5 minutes the firmware update process is still at 0% / stuck and in DOWNLOAD mode, please disconnect the USB cable and remove the battery and then reinstall.
2. Close KIES with ALT + F4 until no longer Kies window
3. Then rerun Kies, there will be a failed firmware update notices, and offered to perform emergency firmware recovery.
4. Next up is required to run Kies into download mode
5. Make sure that the GIO is off and there is no usb cable is attached.
6. Press the volume down + home + power button simultaneously
7. make sure it says Downloading on the screen.
8. Plug the USB back to the GIO.
9. Press Retry the Emergency Firmware Recovery window
10. Updates will begin to take place, there will be no downloading of data in return because already downloaded earlier that still exist in the cache
11.Wait until the download is complete ,Update done .

Custom bootanimation and apk lost

Custom bootanimation (Tested and works on 2.3.3 and 2.3.4)

What you need:
- Rooted Galaxy Gio S5660 or an other Galaxy Phone.
- Data Cable or SD-Card reader
- Root explorer app

1. download the custom_bootanimation.zip.
Root Explorer
-First delete default bootanimation from /system/media/bootanimation.zip
- Connect your phone to your computer via USB
- Rename the downloaded file to 'bootanimation.zip' and copy to your sdcard
- Disconnect phone from computer
- Open 'Root Explorer'
- Copy/Paste the /sdcard/bootanimation.zip to /data/local/ (make sure it's read/write)
- Reboot

TIP:
you can also delete bootanimation.zip, your device is now booting with the Android 3.1 bootanimation, i like it!

How to make a CUSTOM BOOT ANIMATION...
Install winrar

Root your Android!

using the console or Root explorer goto the /system/media directory.

Copy bootanimation.zip to your SD Card.

Connect your Android to your computer with usb and mount the SD Card

Copy bootanimation.zip to your computer.

extract bootanimation.zip to a folder

Inside you will find 2 folders with all the individual PNG files in them.

With photoshop or paint modify the png files to add your custom graphics.

Highlight the two folders and the desc file.

Right click the highlighted files.

Select add to archive.

Select Zip

In the compression method drop down box select Store. (this is key if you dont do this it wont play the animation)

save the archive as bootanimation.zip

copy the new bootanimation.zip to your SD Card

Load terminal emulator and enter the following commands with an enter after each

***BEGIN TERMINAL COMMANDS***

su

mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system

dd if=/sdcard/bootanimation.zip of=/system/media/bootanimation.zip

Reboot

•Fixed applying existing Update.zips that assume the device name is 'GT-S5660'.
•Format /sd-ext as ext2 as most ROMs don't support ext3/ext4.
