Here are a few other things I've noticed.

-Titanium Backup stalls when asking for root permission. It takes awhile for it to process.

I've used SuperUser as well as SuperSU with the same issue occurring.

-Audio over BT slows down the tracks speed.

I'm using Google Play music app, but it also happens on the stock Music app.
Using Evervolv 3/3 nightly build w/ Komodo r28 (2.1) S-off and the 12/12 gapps
no other modifications have been made.

Enjoying the rom otherwise.

Re: [ROM] Evervolv | 3.2.0p1 [AOSP 4.2.2]

I noticed a couple things (3/4 nightly) but not deal breakers.

1. On the first and second reboot after setting up, I got a warning about the SIM card being installed and to reboot to access Cell Network. Bypass the message and all was fine.

2. MMS doesn't seem to be sending.

3. I got a phone process crash when setting up Google Voice. (I'll PM a logcat to you Dastin)

Everything else is running pretty well, no other surprises here. Nice work!

Ya need to reboot to recovery and wipe cache and dalvik first. Then fix permissions and reboot sir.

According to your logcat...

What's difference between nine inch nales and this? Is this like the nightlies or something?

Yeah, I tried that and while the issue popped up when I was doing the Google Voice setup, it's actually happening on/after regular phone calls. Not sure whats going on but wiping and fixing didn't help, but I did try. :)

Re: [ROM] Evervolv | 3.2.0p1 [AOSP 4.2.2]

Is it normal behavior for AOSP to kill data while on a phone call? On Sense and CM10.1 ROMs the ability to surf and talk is there but on Evervolv it isn't.

Thanks.

What we use to do with the evo shift is switch to a sense based ROM and locked in GPS then reflash the aosp ROM of your choosing

Since I'm on both Sense and AOSP/CM frequently I don't ever have a problem BUT I will tell you, when GPS works on AOSP, it works, FAST! I'm talking about 4sec locks on 90% of the visible satellites for me. :D

For those that don't know what Evervolv is, Evervolv is an AOSP (Android Open Source Project) ROM. We're fully open sourced and encourage it with no restrictions. The work put into this ROM is community driven and and Evervolv Project is made up of numerous members and contributors.

Right now the current source we are working on is Jellybean (Android 4.2.x).

    Current version: 3.2.0p3

Below is the "Not working" or items that are buggy list. I'm going to keep it short and simple for the time being and let you guys figure bugs out, and I will update this.

Test build is live, flash it via the new 'Updates' section in the toolbox. Report comments / issues here, not on the bug tracker.

P.S. > Yes you have to download a nightly in order to get the zip. This is part of the test. However, test builds will only be available with the Updater.

    Re: [ROM] Evervolv | 3.2.0p2 [AOSP 4.2.2]

So I tried this, seems okay, I am curious though and im sorry for asking this. What makes this rom special? Its cm with less options. So what makes it different? I really don't see a reason to use it, can someone enlighten me? Not trying in any way to be rude, just want to know what Im missing out on. Thanks.

This isn't CM with less options. This is pure Google AOSP. This is the true vanilla Android experience. CM is AOSP with more options.
