using apps like cpu spy wont work (cant detect the different cpu states), but if you use a different kernel like crpalmers kernel it fixes it, so im thinking it has something to do with the CM10.1 kernel because that's what the stock kernel is.

I see.. I thought that was what it was all about. Thanks for the info. Getting ready to flash and give 'er a go!! Thanks for the rom and update!

Here is the only issue I have.. and this is all AOSP roms I've tried.. so I don't point any blame... In areas that the 4G signal is full, I'm on 3G... it seems the roms have trouble switching over to the LTE signal when it's available.. There are a few spots around town the 4G is just too weak and it switches the 3G which I understand.. But when I notice it most is my other line is a Moto Droid Razr M and it will have full 4G LTE bars and I'm on 2 or 3 bars of 3G .. make sense? Is there a network setting I'm missing to help this thing out?

I can only mention something, it won't help, but bars doesn't equal data, meaning a full signal strength may still give you edge, just something to keep in mind looking at those bars vs data.

I haven't had any issues with my data... I've ran multiple speed tests and I get about the same down and up as I do on sense roms

Is the other phone on AOSP also? Remember it doesn't pad signal including data strength.

Tapatalked from my HTC DNA - Carbon

The signal strength isn't the issue I see.. My other line has a Moto Droid Razr M with JellyBean (stock verizon) ... If I flashed a Sense based rom, boom, LTE right out of the gate.. AOSP, first boot shows 3G ... after a long while I leave it and it will eventually show LTE .. In most cases I reboot the phone and it will connect/show LTE .. I think I screwed something up on this install anyway.. Battery is draining with no end in site, so to troubleshoot I'm going to flash a stock sense rom and start over..

Side note, can't wait for the new build .torrented!!

    [ROM][JB 4.2.2] [Update20] | GCC 4.7/-O3 | Root-Box | DNA | HALO))) | Hybrid | PIE | [UNOFFICIAL]

Please enjoy my first ever ported AOSP/CM ROM. For a good laugh, I just woke up that day and randomly picked a ROM from the nexus 7 development forums that I wanted to port, then made it happen... The regular stuff is below (Please know I am not trying to take any credit for the hard work of the other guys that have put everything else together) Please if I forgot anything let me know I have been up all night working to get this to where it is and im sure i made a mistake here or there... Enjoy :)

    Code:
    #include
    /*
    * Your warranty is now void.
    *
    * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.

    Description

Vanilla RootBox is built straight from RootBox sources and always carries a very light installation with no extra/useless apps. This means, you can enjoy a pure Android experience combined with AOKP/CM features and some CM cherry-picks. Keep in mind Jelly Bean is only at the beginning stage of development and there will be minor bugs. Every RootBox releases are stable and always up to the challenge for a daily usage. I personally have a high standard when it comes to releases and this is why this project always meets the expectations of users. If you're wondering how this ROM differs from any other AOKP roms out there, I only have one thing to say: Try it yourself and choose the one that meets your requirements.

    Device Questions:

A: If you have your build enviroment set up just click here and follow the instructions.

Q: How often will you be uploading updates?
A: I will be putting out updates either if there is a fix for something that is or gets broken, if there is any cool major chages, or about once every week.

Q: What gapps can I use?
A: Any gapps that you wish, really all you need is the com.android.vending.apk.

Q: How is the battery life?
A: Flash the ROM and give it a test run.

Q: AHHH! I found a bug, what can I do to help you fix it?!?!?
A: Get me a logcat and submit it to http://www.pastebin.com and then paste the link to your paste in a post.
A: Alternatively if you experience an app Force Close, hit the report button and then send it to torrented.xda@gmail.com

Q: I want to update to the latest update, do I need to do a full wipe or just the caches?
A: Just wiping the caches is ok, but since I'm still in the early stages, if you get any force closes or strange anomalies I would suggest doing full wipes in between and do not restore any kind of system data.

Here is the deal, Once SMS/MMS stuff gets fixed I can release an Update! Everything is building properly but CM messed up SMS/MMS so until then there will be a halt.

    Everything else seems ok.

EDIT* Issue is now fixed and I am uploading NOW!

@DasRooter If you feel you can do a better job at maintaining a ROM with almost 0% support from the main dev, feel free to do so.

    Update is live

I Suggest to Clean Flash this Update!

    or

make sure to clear Contacts, Contacts Storage, and the dialer data if you dirty flash, it will get rid of the FC's
    4
Update got data and network working thanks to chad :D

Late Edit* Camera is finally fixed! Fumbled through some files and changed some values and then BAM!

torrented nice work, my only hiccup is I keep getting com.android.acore.stopped working. any idea what this is? followed your install instrucs to the tee

Clear cache and data for contact and contact storage, that's the acore error.
