I'm hopeful that VZW will finally approve JRO03H for release to the CDMA/LTE Xoom soon. They have approved Google's ROM for the Galaxy Nexus and Google started rolling it out as of Friday.

When 4.0.4 came out, the VZW Galaxy Nexus update began on a Friday and the Xoom was the following Monday. That's clearly not the case here, but considering that we know VZW has been testing JRO03H since at least early August (when it was leaked here), you figure the release must be imminent.

Will the VZW OTA support the MZ600 3G only models as well as those with 4G LTE? Sorry if this has been covered before, but I hadn't seen a thread on it.

Yeah. Once the 4G upgrade happened, the Honeycomb builds got forked, sort-of. The non-upgraded 3G Xooms stayed on 3.2.1/HTK75D while the 4G ones were on 3.2.2/HLK75C and received some updates to 3.2.2/HLK75D, 3.2.4/HLK75F, and 3.2.6/HLK75H.

Once Ice Cream Sandwich released, they updated both the 3G and 4G Xoom to IMM76L using an HTK75D->IMM76L update for the 3G Xoom and an HLK75H->IMM76L update for the 4G ones. This brought both devices onto a single build and single update. Now that they're on a common platform, OTA updates going forward will be one and done. The same update works for both the 3G and 4G Xooms now.

No...Verizon is still testing or delaying the Xoom Jelly Bean update. The problem is, the Xoom isn't a priority device for them anymore so they'll get to it when they get to it. Motorola's update page says Q4 2012 so I can't imagine it'll take much longer. Keep in mind that the Verizon Xoom took six months to receive an update from Honeycomb to Ice Cream Sandwich.

Once the update rolls out, I'm sure it'll be 4.1.2/JZO54(X) and it will be most certainly be the final update. At least the Verizon Xoom's updates come from Google (after approval from Verizon). The international models get updates from Motorola so I will guarantee that MZ601, MZ605, and MZ606 will never see official Jelly Bean updates.

Unbelievable. How the hell could that update require that much testing?! Christ almighty... the firmware works like a dream on WiFi- only models. Honestly, Verizon probably just hasn't got around to testing yet. The Xoom isn't a priority device so they'll get to it when they get to it.

You'd think with all of the new devices coming out every month and the increasingly frequent updates for android that Verizon would boost the testing budget and hire more. Unfortunately the number of customers that would leave over untimely updates is a drop in their revenue bucket so probably won't make a difference.

Sadly you're correct. The overwhelming majority of smartphone owners don't give a damn about updates. I own a Verizon Galaxy Nexus and I'm worried that the update schedule is going to get like this the older that phone gets as well.

I loved my VZW Xoom, but I'm glad I sold it and migrated to an N10 for the instant updates alone. I'm on a Share Everything plan with Verizon so if I need Internet on my N7 or N10, I just tether it to my phone.

Also stuck on Verizon with a galaxy nexus for another year, leaning more towards jumping ship when they contract expires. But it won't impact them one bit.

Continuing our discussion from
[REF] Nexus 4 Stock OTA URLs pages 21-23+ and
[REF] [HOW-TO] [GSM & CDMA] Official Google OTA update URLs -- Latest: JDQ39 / 4.2.2 pages 206-207+ and
IAN67K from IAN67H OTA? pages 1-2+

Following the success of finding update urls for the N4/7/10/NQ, I am expanding the search now to old devices.
I would like to ask for volunteer(s) to try and grab all update urls for their device.

While they may already have most of there update urls found, I would like to request someone to take the time to try and recheck for any missing updates.
As these devices (ADP2/Droid1/N1/NS/xoom) no longer recieve updates anymore, this will only ever need to be done once.

If you would like to help, here's what you can do:
  1. Reflash to a stock google rom (as it will only work on a stock rom)
  2. Root your device
  3. Change the following lines in build.prop:
    SEE LIST BELOW
  4. Reboot
  5. Check for updates
  6. Post the name of the update zip it downloads (check /cache)

The Android 4.1.1/Jelly Bean OTA update for the US WiFi Xoom is now rolling out. Verizon to follow in the next month hopefully. If by the grace of God any International Xoom variants ever get Jelly Bean (don't count on it), I can post those links here too if someone provides them.

US WiFi-only Xoom (MZ604): OTA Link from Google
US Verizon 3/4G Xoom (MZ600/MZ602): Waiting on link.
CAN YOU REPOST GOOGLE LINK FOR WIFI ,PLEASE
