Download The Package
Mirror Download Package

Instructions:
>Unzip Downloaded Package "5282 JASDROID-STOCK-RECOVERY-FIXED.zip" to your PC
>Download "Update super user.zip" and copy to your memory card.
>Switch Off Mobile & Go to Download Mode in your phone by (Vol-down+Home+Power)
> Open Odin application
> Connect the phone to PC and ensure it is properly connected.
> Click on "PDA"
> Select "recovery.tar.md5"
> Click start
Wait for a movement, phone will reboot
> Switch off phone again
>Now go to recovery by (Vol-Up+Home+Power)
>Install update from sdcard
>Select Superuser.zip file
>reboot your phone!
Your Phone Should be ROOOOOT Now!!

This doesnt work............if u want to root galaxy star use cydia impactor....

galaxy star duos ****rooted*** xda offical app :() :()

Hi fellow S5282 user's, may i ask how to root latest firmware version XXAMI1. Philippines.

I've got SuperSu.zip but whenever i go to recovery mode anf update thru sdcard, I always got signature error failed.

Unfortunately does not work properly there is a problem with your recovery you ..

Detail

I've installed a copy Stock and then you make a factory reset does not happen the problem you have installed your recovery you .. Then you make a factory reset stops on the word Samsung and re-entry once again went to the recovery and you make a factory reset, Restart, and the same problem!!

I hope to resolve this problem in the near

    i have a suggestion...can we merge a working recovery with the new cwm? i read somewhere that there is something called chains...and if we can copy them from a working recovery to the new one ... in situations when we have an issue like this ( not able to boot)

    Thanks all for your co-operation ..
    The main problem is I dont have this phone... so its hard to daiganose for me..
    If anyone spare more time with good net speed and required things in pc, we will sort this problem very soon...

    And I simaltiously working on other device also..
