I bought mine last Sunday, and the battery was draining 10% per hour when idling for the first few days. Now it only drains around 1-2% per hour for the last two days. It's the same ROM, so it must have been a rogue app!

With mine, I realized the one that drains my battery the most is when I had Locations turned one, Geo News, My Magazine. After I turned it off, my phone have lasted 1 day and 2 hrs and 43m and counting. At 12% now.

17% - screen
16% - android System
16% - Andoid OS
6% - Android Core Apps
6% - Cell Standby
5% - Pandora
4% - Facebook
4% - Wifi
4% - Chrome

4 hours without use the s5 12% decreased *wifi on*location on *synchronization on .*wifi calling off
At this point I don't know if something wrong with the phone but I think my s4 was performed better than the s5.

Love it...(S5)

That's weird....I'm at 46% right now, 14hours 42min with 2hours 22min of screen time. I also don't have AntService. I did take the update yesterday it was for System Stabilization, I wonder if that has something to do with it as well.

+1...........Maybe you need to return it and get another...got to be an issue...i am getting 16hours at 28% battery left...i really didnt need to flash the ROM...but thanks to the devs though.....

When Android OS is running over 20% like I'm seeing on some of the pix posted that is usually a location services bug. Try turning off your location sync and see how that goes. With location on you at most should see Android OS 12-15% in your list

I've had very little problems in terms of battery life since I've owned the phone. Surprisingly, it's even kept up with my LG G2.

I tried disabling all location services, didn't help. After arguing with TMo for a few days a new one has been overnighted, should be here Monday. We'll see. I figured maybe rogue app, but I had the issue with no 3rd party apps installed. Even tried disabling all the fitness apps since AntService is going crazy. Also, I know I need to check wakelock but I can't root because this is a defect I think, and 4.4 doesn't allow you to check battery stats without root.

As of right now I've tried about everything without root, and no matter what I can't get more than 1hr 20min screen on time without the battery dying.

It's actually new this time, they didn't do it as warranty or insurance; essentially they had me purchase a new one and refund this one. It was a completely ridiculous and over - complicated process, but it's finally done.

Could someone still running stock and not rooted do me a favor? Go to settings> developer options> process stats> menu key> show system processes> click Android (system) then tell me what percentage of the time AntService is running?

Runs 100%
I've gotten 5 and a half hours screen time on stock no root. Currently I'm trying to find a way to get android system to not have a larger percent than screen time percentage. And I only turn on locations when I need it. Without rooting.
