No they cant AFAIK. As long as you have the original spl your warranty will be ok.

I do some test today, and find that with 1.42spl and 1.42HSPL,the Bluetooth address is correct, when i flash the spl from 1.42 to 2.08 hspl, the Bluetooth address changed the last four digit to 0023

I can confirm that. I went from HSPL1 to HSPL2 1.66 yesterday, and today when I tried to do the usual ActiveSync over BT it wouldn't work. Upon seeing that report I checked my BT MAC, and it was indeed broken, last 4 digits set to 00:23 instead of BB:22, which is why my device wasn't recognised by the devices it was paired to anymore. I tried reflashing HSPL2 1.66 and it didn't help, I then reverted to HSPL2 1.42, and it was fixed. So it seems that not only HSPL 2.08, but also 1.66 breaks BT MAC address.

Why give option to put 2.08.0000?
Now when i click on HSPL2 it doesn't do anything...
So that you can go back to 2.08.0000 if that is your original spl. You need one of the spl's ending in hspl and not in 0000.

You should just need to connect your phone to your pc and rerun hspl2. Choose 2.08.hspl and once that is loaded you should be able to flash your rom using either usb or sd card.

When i run HSPL2, it doesn't let me do anything still, it detects phone-but then just give error,
CRITICAL ERROR
Flow:00000001
Error code: 00000002
Description: USB Connect failed!

I got it, and that HSPL2 is capable, to bring back the original SPL (the 1.42.0000 one) right?

Thats my last question, and im doing the flash :)

I haven't personally tried it, but that is what others have said. If that fails you can still use the method of flashing the stock rom via sd card which will overwrite the spl. Make sure that you have a copy of your original rom file as backup

Sd card, do u mean Goldcard? cause i havent got that!

Well the situation is, i bought this in a hungarian GSM store, but the PN number says, that PDa is from the german vodafone. And i bought this with an 1.48.479.1 ROM, and E-care and me is 100% sure, that is not the original rom on it!

But since the SPL is 1.42.0000 (original), the warranty lives.

Thats why im asking that HSPL2 can bring back the original SPL?!

E-care also told me, there are no updates to this hd2 yet. they tried to get from the htc . com, with its serial number, didnt work, cause no updates yet (they said).

but, since it has an 1.48.479.1 rom, i cant update to the 1.66.479.1 cause it fails after 1%. Also i cant update the german rom too (and i didnt want to).

So im ****ed, im hoping that HSPL2 can bring back the original spl.

No not Goldcard, just flashing via the normal micro sd card.

You'll find your rom here as a backup - http://www.4shared.com/account/file..._WWE_EastEurope_148.html?sId=nhQyEbkhGpSTZkXa
As mentioned hspl2 is claimed to be abel to revert back to the original spl, but if all else fails you can use the rom and flash it from the sd card and you'll have your spl back.

With hspl you will be able to flash whichever rom you want and then get back to spl 1.42 using either hspl2 or the sd card flash.

    So, finaly here it is...

    Release Notes:

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DarkForces Team HardSPL by bepe and Cotulla

    Please read carefully before installing!

    1) To install this HSPL there must be SPL 1.42.0000 on your device.
    Otherwise the installation will fail!
To check your SPL version, hold the Volume Down button and do a reset.
It is possible to downgrade to this SPL, by just flashing to an Official ROM
    with this SPL version.

    2) Features
    - Disabled CID Check, so you can flash any official ROM without using a Gold Card.
    - Security Level = 0, so you can use all the boot loader commands (for developers).
    - This HSPL will not get overwritten when flashing a full NBH with SPL via RUU.
    - No NBH signatures check, so you can flash unsigned ROM images.

    3) Warranty Issues
Be warned, Installing HSPL may void your warranty.
If you need to send your device to a Repair Centre,
make sure that you uninstall HSPL!

    4) Uninstallation
Only way to remove the HSPL is to flash an original SPL from SD card.
    - Take any "RUU_signed.nbh" from a ship ROM and copy it to SD card.
    - Rename it to "leoimg.nbh"
    - Reset the device while pressing the volume down button.

    5) Disclaimer
This product is free to use, but at your own risk. We take no
responsibility for any conflict, fault, or damage caused by
this unlocking procedure. No warranties of any kind are given.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Troubleshooting:
    • I have SPL 1.42.666 on the device.... !!!! WAIT !!!! SPL 1.42.6666 is not the version of the SPL on your device!... it is the SSPL version. Most likely you have the needed 1.42.0000 SPL on the device, just try to install this HSPL if you need it. Don't worry, if there is not the right SPL on the device, then u will get an error message, but nothing will happen to your device ;)
    • "Your OS ROM isn't customized for your hardware. Please reflash the proper ROM code or contact the service center", !!! Problem NOT related to HSPL !!! ... this means that you flashed a region protected rom... flash any other rom that has your region ID... or patch it

    well, HSPL2 comes

To install/uninstall this HSPL there must be any SPL version from this list on your device:

    SPL 1.42.0000 SPL 1.42.HSPL
    SPL 1.62.0000
    SPL 1.66.0000 SPL 1.66.HSPL
    SPL 2.07.0000
    SPL 2.08.0000 SPL 2.08.HSPL

Other versions are not supported. (They are rare however...)

Now you can uninstall HSPL via same program, you no longer need to flash rom from SD card!

In HSPL2 you can select which version of SPL you want to install in the device.

    There included 6 SPLs:

OSPL 1.42, OSPL 1.66, OSPL 2.08 (Original SPL)
HSPL 1.42, HSPL 1.66, HSPL 2.08 (Hard SPL)

Remember that some ROMs have old SPLs, for example 2.10 ROM have 2.08 SPL, 1.72 ROM have 1.66 SPL and etc!

You can install any of them using HSPL2.

    HSPL3

    HSPL3 available

    so what about changes?

*Support 2.10 OSPL (in 2.13 ROM)

*Now included only 2.08.0000 and 2.08.HSPL.
Seems all ROMs based on 1.42, 1.66, 1.XX can work with 2.08 SPL without problems.*

*Now one HSPL for different LEO types: UsualLEO, TelstraLEO and 1024LEO*

*Because there no SPLs except 2.08, so no risk to brick 1024LEO with wrong version.

*Telstra LEO supported. Actually Model ID checked by first 4 letters.
