It looks that you checked NandWrite.
You must uncheck this and try again.

Nope I gave up on that for little while. Att bootloader is locked from what I read. Not much you can I can do at this point

I have a Odin Version that work with your tab.
Also i can give you the first 4.2.2 for your AT&T Tab.(Form 7.2.2014)

This Odin Version will work with your tab. Install the correct USB drivers.

WORKED LIKE A CHARM!!!!

Used ODIN 3.07 With Auto Reboot and F. Reset Checked. Select the md5 file under PDA field. Click Start and DONE.

Hello Dear Konsolen,

I need your help about my problem with Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 T217A

I download firmware from sammobile.com

but when i use it by Odin , fail and now no booting , i can enter download mode , but i can't enter recovery mode .

i try to download the firmware link you put it in terafile.co but link became Invalid

i hope you can help me to get this file to repair my Tab

From what I've read, if you bricked it while or after you upgraded to 4.4.2, the locked bootloader and knox will keep you from going back to 4.2.2 on an SM_T217A.

I upgraded to 4.4.2 then tried to downgrade back to 4.2.2 and bricked it. (same error)

Every day I search for an Odin flashable 4.4.2 for the SM-T217A hoping that at least flashing the 4.4.2 will work to get it back...No luck finding one yet...Kies still only has the 4.2.2 firmware so that doesn't work.

Why lock the At&t variant but not any other SM-217'?

I have no idea how long it will take before sammobile gets the firmware, but I'm guessing since the firmware isn't even available using kies yet, that it will be a long wait.

It seems crazy to me for at&t to roll out an update with no way to recover if something goes wrong...I mean, from some of the posts I've read, some devices may have updated to 4.4.2 on their own without the users knowledge until after the fact. If that's true it just makes it even more crazy.

Edit: I found an app in the play store that supposedly would catch the ota and save it so you can flash it on another device. No idea if it would work but I wanted to try it. I have a second t217a still on 4.2.2 so I thought I would give it a go.....Nope!!!.... Apparently, only the t217a I bricked was eligible for the upgraded firmware(?) because my 2nd t217a was set up exactly the same as the 1st, yet when I search for update it says there is none.

Oh well... From what I saw after the 4.4.2 on the 1st tab (the reason I bricked it trying to go back), I'm probably still less frustrated with a brick.

Take it to your nearest Best Buy and find the Samsung center inside the store and they will flash the new firmware for you.. I had do the same thing on my note 3 when 4.4.2 was released. Hope that helps.

I have to change the version 4.2.2 but I can not throw a link here.

I made it myself from the original firmware
