I think there is a valid reason. A lot of people feel that getting robbed is wrong and believe in self defense.
I know in Texas, that sort of case wouldn't make it past the grand jury. Not saying I would try to play the hero, but concealed carry is quite common in Texas and maybe why our big cities don't have the crimes of Detroit or Chicago.
Agreed. Getting way off topic, but criminals don't follow the laws, regardless. If law abiding folks in cities such as Chicago were able to defend themselves legally, criminals would start to figure that out. There are plenty of years and years of statistics clearly showing trends of decreased crime rates where people are legally allowed to defends themselves with a firearm.
Back on topic - I also use Life360, great app for tracking family members, and also shows sex offenders and other crimes nearby, but as mentioned, if the phone gets deactivated, doesn't do much good.
