Default Amazon app (not Amazon Store)
Why the amazon app (that is the app version of the amazon website, to buy products, not apps) is not compatible with this device?

Ask amazon as they've marked it that way on the android market, but there is a work around. All you have to do is install it from the AMAZON APP STORE.

It's called Amazon Mobile.
