rkoby, which kernel gives the best performance (gaming, daily, vids,etc) and battery life? Arakmars latest or CM 1.5 Kernel ?
can't say about cm7 1.5 kernel...but arakmars 07/04/2012 build is good for me in any aspect(using it right now)...i get 24hrs of battery life with 3g 24/7 on and active a lot(14months old battery
)..in games performance is awesome..also overall performance is great......i can't tell you for videos...coz i watch vids on my lappy......if i do watch them at all...phone is just to small for vids....btw: on which rom are you now?Kyrillos 10.2? If so
..could you try to find winamp at play store and see if it's there, please?...i can't install it on cm7alpha8a1 anymore & i'm looking where's the problem....

hi rkoby13, on my galaxy3 w/CM7.2A8.1a [kernel: stock 1.5 OC 1 Ghz] i could install winamp without errors... also worked without errors (tried with some music). perhaps you could try downloading again on wifi?

i tried wiping data and back to factory and nothing - still auto rotation stop working after couple minutes,hours(?)

1. I have your v9.6 ROM in my i5800, do I need to update the kernels for v.10.2?
2. If yes, how?
3. And do I really need to wipe data/cache after installing the v.10.2 ROM?

Can you send me a copy of your rom's build.prop?
When you are under blue sky, GPS will get a fix. But it takes a few minutes. Use GPS status to get a faster fix.
You can change your haptic feedback under cyanogen settings, input and haptic feedback.

- I dont remember what i changed from Alpha4 but its faster and more reliable.
- Ondemand governor has performance fixes. If you want to save battery, install setcpu, go to advanced settings and set Sampling rate to 60000 & Up threshold to 95.
- Cpu default frequency: 100-800MHz
- CM kernel 1.3 Included (UV fixed)
- If your have the screen of death issue (if your phone doesnt wake up, and you have to remove the battery) flash this kernel: CM kernel 1.3 high_voltage // Mirror [Thanks to rkoby13]
