Yes, but mine actually works...That version didn't work for Mac. Since both versions require different code and steps to work I thought it would make the most sense to have a separate thread.

Coming soon in the next version I will make the file size a whole lot smaller and add more help information.

Am I suppose to mount the SD? I'm getting this message "strings: can't open file: ./nv_data.bin (No such file or directory)". Help please.

worked for me

Thanks a lot - worked at the first try for me (code generated on my MAC)

So from now on i can use my CAPTIVATE here in germany with vodafone

Will donate later..

Doesn't vodaphone have the original Galaxy S? Or did you buy the Captivate for looks?

Mac version worked like a charm. well done. Haven't had a chance to try with a tmobile sim in yet. But it's unlocked.

Did you use version 2.0 or 1.0? If it is 2.0 then it would say when you start it up. I am just curious.

Sorry but i have the same problem...... i also mounted the sd card but nothing..... for sd you mount the internal or the external?

Internal. Also USB debugging must be on.

I need help with this... once I clicked on Generate_Code.bat, the following error is being showed "*Error: unable to find file <.\nv_data.bin>" I have tried to google this file, but I just couldnt find... can someone please let me know how to add this file, or a workaround for this error?

This is the file from your phone. If it is not found you probably did something wrong. Check out this thread:

I can't tell if you are joking but the unlock code is numbers.
