I have two devices in the house.. my cell s3 and galaxy note 10.1.
I have only paired them once... when I bought the dongle.

Unsure why you have to pair them again and again.

So now with the update you think it is worth buying?

I have always been interested in it but the reviews have kept away lol.

I side boot Ubuntu on my phone do you think that would mirror my tv with all share cast?

Given a choice now, I would consider netgear ptv3000 over allshare cast. With netgear, you can connect laptops with widi and nexus stuff on miracast as well.
I bought my allshare cast whe netgear wan not available... and I have not regrets.
I have watched so many movies with it... so many online serials, games, that its been worth the investment.
Both my devices are fully stock and uprooted, so I had no difficulty ever casting them.

I dont know if the dongle works on ubuntu or not though.

I will encourge u to consider ptv3000 though.

Is it my imagination or is the update not working anymore? I have a stock unrooted Note 10.1 and Google Play says that my device is incompatible? What gives?

Is it against the rules to ask for the APK?
