Default Notification Light Broken In Almost All Roms?

I've noticed that most of the roms developed for the LTE have a recurring problem with notification lights not working correctly. This seems to be a major issue, especially among CM roms. I know kushdeck was able to fix his, but can anyone specify what the problem was in the first place? I'd like to see his fix get ported over to the other roms too.

Sadly, the only rom that currently has a working notification light is kushdeck's. I'm great with running cm10.1, but I'd much appreciate it if MeanBean was fixed. The funny thing is that almost no one has reported the issue, which is probably why it hasn't been fixed.

Yes I do. I have it fixed right now, because deck himself messed with something. But across all other ROMs, I had those options checked to no avail.

Weird... I'll reflash v3.03. Maybe it's because I haven't updated my firmware.
