So, I don't even really understand what that means. I emailed him for a follow-up, asking him if that meant the codes and such are phone-specific. Here's what he said:

Yes, and only Samsung knows what these settings mean.

Any ideas?

If anyone is interested, I could start a thread with trial-and-error results on settings for our phone, or the OP could put it in the first post.

Make the thread! ..ill help with some stuff if you need the help...Im just pretty occupied with alot of family stuff at this moment to monitor this thread.

I m using call recoder n alsa mixer
I dnt knw what is the use of alsamixer
But my problem is ,,, that I m not able to record the incoming calls properly
Out going calls are recorded perfectly with both parties vocies
But incoming calls just records my voice only so plz help me I m using note 2 rooted (supersu)

Maybe that's a feature?...make sure you've checked all the settings.

P.S. why on earth would you want to record all calls?

Maybe--if it's legal-- you'd want to get that call where your wife says she cheated on you recorded for court.....but recording all your calls? What on earth would you want that for? Unless your installing it on someone else's phone. Are you?

Edit: also, this app DOES boost the volume for all sound, right? Not just in-call volume?
