[Q] System data too large after unroot plz help
I was rooted on a Nexus 4 with a custom kernel, and then I flashed the stock kernel/boot.img and updated to android 4.3, which I think caused me to lose root.
I'm running out of storage space for seemingly no reason, so I downloaded diskusage app and there's a section called system data that is taking up 3.8 gigs. From other threads, it seems likely that there's some old backups from clockworkmod or maybe titanium backup somewhere taking up too much space.
The problem is I cannot see any of those folders. I went through all the folders with various file explorers and can't find any old backups to delete. How can I do that? Do I need root access to see them?
I also can't seem to uninstall the SuperSU app. I tried a factory reset but the large system data 3.8gb chunk is still there.
I'm just trying to get back to stock and remove whatever mysterious files are taking up way too much space. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
