Is it actually possible to use the CM10.1 GAPPS for CM9. I really like the stock browser of the CM10.1 GAPPS as this one is very fast!

@Idlekilla: You should have tried all stock browsers. What is your experience?

No, you can't. Different APIs.

And the browser is not part of Gapps.

When it comes to stock browsers I really don't have a clear preference. I haven't done any scientific testing, but they feel equally "smooth." It kinda just boils down to how I want my bookmarks presented.

Seems like mtp is gone after installing AA 1.8.3c. Any way to install the mtp-driver without modifying the kernel?

Either will work, but usually it's flashed right after the rom, before booting.

Yep, makes no difference. Usually if you flash gapps after boot, you'll find that heaps of things crash. No harm flashing straight after rom before first boot

A completely untested build on the "ics-release" branch for wifi-only: link, untested because I don't want to go through the hassle of switching away from and back to 4.2.

Works amazing! Thank you! Get a bit of flicker on pop up windows (ex: play store 'continue shopping' window)... but tbh, that's so minor it's not even funny!

I agree. It works really great. Combined with AA's 1.8.3c-kernel it get's even better. ;) This will most likely be my daily driver for a while.

Addem1234's CM9-ROM has no lag on Youtube HD, at least not with AA's 1.8.3c-kernel.
