I feel really compelled to sell my GS3 and buy the 16gb Nexus 5 once it's in stock once again. I won't spend much extra buying the nexus since the GS3 sells for around $300-$350.
I need your opinion haha...am I affected by commercialism? It is a worthy upgrade since I won't really be spending money on it? Or should I ride this one out and maybe wait for the nexus 6....although the value of gs3 would drop severely by then.
Everyone to a point is affected by commercialism. Google and Nestle did a great job marketing, they stood quiet about the device until the very end and released a huge update.
1. It's worth getting if you want to get away from Touchwiz and into 4.4 AOSP.
2. If space doesn't matter too much, Nexus 5 is a good choice. Use cloud storage to back up your things!
3. It's a worthy upgrade because of the CPU at least, 2.3 GHz. However, camera is the same. It has a slightly bigger screen with 1080p display.
4. It's cheap brand new.
5. It's unlocked already.
If you're looking at the Nexus 5, don't look back, it's a good device!
