I know its odd to say the least. When it works everything rotates except the desktop. When it does not work - it flat out does not work. Not sure what is changing - for the hell of it i replaced the existing zimage and tar file from the original full download from 1st post. It works fine upon 1st boot but later boot the issue happens.
No, the data.img... Please quote posts so I know what you're talking about, thanks.
Hi, i try this Android Full Package, but i have problem.

ok, i try replace this files:
1. modules-2.6.27.46-01340-g2c1d169.tar.gz
for
modules-2.6.27.46-fox-110816.tar.gz
(8.16 from this post: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1207167)
2. zImage
for
zImage-2.6.27.46-fox-110816 (after this rename to zImage)
3. Haret.exe for file Haret.exe from this post:
http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=14519408&postcount=1
and i add this line to startup.txt: set initrd_offset 0x00a00000
After this i try run HARET.exe. Android sucessfully booted, BUT LED Diode still flashing at Orange!! :///
Someone to help? Thanks...
Did you completely miss my post?
First off, please use kernels from the autobuild service while we triage this issue.
Second, read my post please. Thanks.
Can you at least rename it to see if that does resolve the issue...?
I guess you could try the fix_permissions script (google it, it's a CM thing).
Hi, okey, now i try replace kernel for your post:
http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=14519408&postcount=1
"3. Download the kernel from the .39 (autobuild service), replace as you normally would, and boot!"
Ok, now after Android boot, my recharge LED not still flashing. But, all my four buttons, still flashing when PDA is "Online". After standBy, button was off flashing.
How i fix this? :/ Android FROYO is super, stable, not restart PDA, but still i think quickly battery off because 4buttons still flashing. :/
Thanks
So I tried the script but it doesn't download. Found it in a wiki http://android-dls.com/wiki/index.php?title=CyanogenMod#Downloads
I used an older one http://modmymobile.com/forums/567-motorola-backflip-general/556261-fix_permissions-script.html but it gave me a syntax error
I guess I will keep looking just giving u an update.
YES!
On TP2, RHOD 400, Boost Mobile.
Working great! Internet's finally up, calls work, headphone jack...finally, this phone's worth my while. An infinite amount of thanks. I can hardly begin to appreciate the effort put into this, but here's a start.
Meh, you know a new data.img will fix your issue... Titanium Backup makes this "solution" a lot less painful...
Yeah i mean when i renamed it it still gave me the problem. But yeah I will just start over. I did notice there was an app to do it the premissions (but u pick the apps indiviually) but of course I can't download since it crashes. But yeah I will just use titanium and go fresh.
So on a fresh data.img (no restores from TB or any other apps, basically a clean/new build) you still get that crash when installing an app from the Market? That seems... odd to say in the least. Did you do the new Market trick or something funky...?
Nah just renamed it. Also I was going to back up with Titanium but it says I don't have root access. Weird!
I've noticed that FRX07 has had many more resets (into winmo) then FRX06 ever did. FRX06 was stable in that regard.
I have noticed the sleep problems have been fixed, though.
The resets, i'm thinking, have something to do with the new RIL. The reason I say this is, for a week when I was out of country, I turned the phone radio off (leaving on wifi), and had 0 resets.
Now that I'm back, the resets are more frequent, if erratic. I looked through the logs generated in dropbox, and there is no event that indicates what caused the reset: it looks like regular operation before the reset, and then the normal boot sequence.
Any ideas? I'm wondering what to pick between stability and battery (sleep)...
stinebd said:Here’s a new release for you, folks. This is a major release with a ton of changes, new features, and fixes. Our friend hyc/highlandsun did most of the heavy lifting for this release. Highlights include a rewritten RIL with support for world phones and greatly improved CDMA support; fixes for the media codecs; fixes for MMS on Sprint; increased security with the Superuser app.
A list of changes is included below. The FRX07 system image is available for download now, and will require the use of a new rootfs image, also available now. Additionally, we have a new bundle containing everything needed to enjoy a full FRX07 system.
Note: Due to the incredibly long list of changes, this is a somewhat condensed, terse changelog describing only the overall scope of the changes.
FRX07:
- frameworks/base:
- Major frameworks changes for CDMA/GSM dual-mode worldphone support. (hyc)
- Fixes for data connection handling to improve startup time. (hyc)
- Fixes for wifi handling to avoid issues on hanged drivers. (hyc)
- Stagefreight (media codecs) fixes. (hyc/viruscrazy)
- Fixes for Sprint’s wonky MMS markup structure. (hyc)
- Fix MediaScanner not finding audio files (including ringtones) in system.ext2
- hardware/libhardware_legacy:
- Minor GPS driver fixes. (Alex[sp3dev])
- Rename wifi interfaces to wlan0 on all devices (hyc)
- hardware/xdandroid-ril: Major RIL refactoring for improved performance on all devices, and added CDMA/GSM dual-mode worldphone support. (hyc)
- packages/apps/Gallery3D: Switched back to Gallery3D as the gallery app (closes bug #111)
- packages/apps/Mms: Fixes for Sprint’s wonky MMS markup structure. (hyc)
- packages/apps/Phone: Fixes for CDMA/GSM dual-mode worldphone support. (hyc)
- packages/apps/Superuser: Added the Superuser package for authorizing su privileges. This, along with our signed builds, provides greatly increased security for the end user (mostly against malicious apps from the Market).
- system/extras/su: Added as a dependency for the Superuser package
- vendor/qcom/android-open: Include missing stagefright codec symbols. (hyc/viruscrazy)
To coincide with the FRX07 system image, the following rootfs changes have been made:
- init.froyo.rc modifications...
- Adjust wpa_supplicant service for the new abstraction provided by libhardware_legacy, as well as interface rename
- Abstract the hciattach service to provide bluetooth support on both chipsets
- Rename wifi interface to wlan0 on all devices
- apns-conf.xml updated
- keymaps completely reorganized, and RHOD end-call key has been remapped to be the Home key in Android.
- default.prop: set ro.secure=1 to lock down the adb shell - su can be used with the Superuser app to authorize root access in adb if needed.
