Well thanks for the effort, i hope someone else might have some insight...

---------- Post added at 10:21 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:10 AM ----------

Here are my exact steps, in case it will help.

Stock from Verizon
1) OTA updates
2) Unlock bootloader from HTCDev.com
3) Perm flash Amon Ra
4) Perm flash root/SU
5) Flash ROM
6) Flash PH98IMG.zip through hboot? (by pressing "power" after reboot into the white screen with colored letters. Is that the Fastboot or hboot screen????)
7) Flashed the audio fix back to stock, as i prefer better and louder call quality, and don't need bluetooth.
8) Enjoy

Is the PH98IMG.zip the same as the boot.img? That's the only part of the installation instructions that's not exactly word for word what i did. I think it's the same, but could be wrong.

6) After you flash the rom, it should take you to the bootloader screen, just hit power and it will find the PH98IMG.zip file that the installer dropped on the root of your SD Card. Hit Volume up to install.
7)There's a new audio fix that keeps BT working and fixes the speakerphone, I believe it's in the first post.

This ROM rocks, Scott. If I knew where you lived, I'd give you a big hug and kiss!

J/K

Joking aside, I love your clean Rom... Had your GB, now this, and going to put it on my GT 10.1.

It smoothens out the GT 10.1. Its nice and clean as you come to expect form me. You might like it :D

Also did you see I have the 3.1 and 3.2 HC for the GT 10.1? They are both pretty good!

Yes, this is what I did. So I must have done it right. Hmmm maybe a bad flash. The md5 checked out OK.

Anyone get the pop up on the phone after booting up saying this phone needs a Sim card before working or some such info to that effect. Then it just starter working. I'm sure it was just a pop up right before it saw the Sim card but still gave me a little start.

Hey Scott,

Just curious, the VM heap size is set at 128, is that normal for ice roms? I changed it to 72 and maybe it's a placebo effect but I'm noticing a slightly smoother rom. I just know from using gb roms that the higher the heap size the more sluggish the rom performed

Considering the amount of knowledge this lad has, the longer the wait, the better the product...
the wait, will be worth it.

Yeah, This was worth the wait. Very worth the wait!!!

Scrosler also has to upload it! :p

Doing that now... Then I have make links, update the op, etc etc etc...

No, thats default on this build. Prior builds were different. Not sure why either way.

    Alternate Kernels

I have created a flashable 3.13.607.5 Kernel and a flashable 3.14.605.5 Kernel for the ROM.

Some people feel that the 3.13.607.5 kernel gave better battery and cooling than the latest kernel.

Feel free to download and test for yourself!

These are in old school method as to make one simple step for everyone. This also resets mainver to 1.00.000.0 :D

    Instructions
    1. Download to root of SD Card
    2. Reboot to Recovery
    3. Flash Zip
    4. Phone will reboot to hboot
    5. Press power one time so it will scan the SD Card
    6. Install boot.img when prompted
    7. Reboot when prompted

    Download the 3.13.605.7 kernel HERE

    Download the 3.14.605.5 kernel HERE

Np. Not trying to bite your head off or anything, but wipe is always almost recommended.

You get to go off on someone and get a thanks for that.

I post a killer ROM and then a mirror by request and I get **** :(

700+ downloads in 7 hours and I have 12 thanks. Im not complaining... But really?
