haha we have the same case!

In terms of the Transleeve does the 201 definately fit I asked a while a go and got no response on the Transformer Forums if it would work or not.

That kind of ipad like case was exactly what I wanted.

It fits perfectly mate. I have 2 ;) You can make it lock better by gently pulling the pins out ever so slightly with the end of a pen on the case. But it is by far the best case as the origami fold for viewing is perfect!

Moko Slim Fit Folio Case

I'm using this MoKo Slim-Fit Folio Cover Case with Stand for Asus Eee Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 / TF700T 10.1-Inch Android Tablet, Black

(My review on Amazon)
The case is perfect on all points except that I wish that it was a little thinner/slimmer so as not to totally take away the aesthetics of the Transformer Infinty, hence the 4 stars.

It hold the tablet very securely. Also, I use the keyboard dock and by detaching the tablet from the bottom prongs, I can attached the tablet to the keyboard. If I need to keep it attached and to stow the tablet/keyboard, the case will fold backwards whilst still being attached to the tablet part.

I purchased a Casern Perfecto' tan. Nicely made and I like it except for one thing. Without keyboard and in portrait holding strap nothing secures back of case to front unless im missing something. the weight of tab makes it flop over and twist case.. Maybe needs 1 more velcro strap to hold it place.

While I like the caseen perfecto I looked everywhere for better leather and skin choices.
Can casern make the perfecto in ostrich, snake, lizard skins etc?

Hi Born,

Put the case in stand mode, and it will prevent the tablet or laptop from falling over.

The leather has been improved with a much nicer smooth quality one in the PERFECTO PRO series seen here: http://www.caseen.com/Transformer-Pad-Infinity-TF700-TF700T_c_49.html

Also in the PERFECTO PRO the strap that holds the case to together with keyboard is now leather detailed and is placed about an inch from where it was in the Perfecto version. This will allow everything to be in place and the front cover won't flop for those inclined to use that feature.

More pictures here and selection of colors here: http://www.caseen.com/Transformer-Pad-Infinity-TF700-TF700T_c_49.html

Thanks for the feedback!

i have the pro model. you miss read what i said.
when you remove keyboard from case and then attempt to hold tablet in the air in front of you in portriat orientation using the wrist strap, the tablet weight causes case to twist, flop or whatever.
what about ostrich or lizard skin?
thanks

Oh I must apologize for that Born!

Ah I see what you mean. That issue is resolved when you use the multi-function leather lined elastic strap. Reverse the strap over and tuck it under the velcro tab holds the tablet into the case. This will keep it from twisting! =).

I can have our design department review the request about maybe some fancier leather prints! Thanks again for the feedback. Hope I helped your resolve as many questions as you need.

Oh OK thank you. Tuck strap behind camera area closure, why didn't I see that?
.
I don't mean leather prints, I would buy real skin as would many others I sure.
Thanks much

Hello everyone,

I have been wanting to buy a simple sleeve for my tablet+dock, I currently carry it around without any protection and it has been getting a bit scratched. It's purely aesthetic but I still would like to protect my tablets casing. Ideally I'd like one in (nappa) leather or something like that, as simple and slick as possible. When it comes to those really simple ones I have only been able to find generic ones, and I do not really know if the tablet+dock will fit.

Does anyone have any good advice? All prices are of interest (within reason), and I'd rather pay a higher price for high quality than buy some crappy thing that will tear within months..

Thank you in advance!

I bought the Caseen DESIGNO PERFECTO Pro case.It adds a fair amount of weight and bulk to the 700 but i think it's worth it. The kbd can be left connected and folded up inside the case and it's well protected too. The Glareshatter anti-glare/anti-fingerprint screen protectors are a revelation too, especially if you use your tablet outside or in areas with a lot of overhead lighting.

I bought a caseen case, on previous transformers I had only used the keyboard to stand the tablet up right.

Now I only connect the keyboard to give my self an extra boost of juice towards the end of the day. Even then I only connect it long enough to charge to tab.

I have only one complaint that I am unable to describe, I will have to take some pics tomorrow and upload them. (essentially when laying on the lower incline the vertical edge that the tab lays on does not stay under the tab thus the tab lays nearly flat while typing. see why I need pictures?)

Snap On Shell + Kick Stand is there such a thing?

I have a Seidio Surface with kickstand for my Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx HD and would love to get something similar for my TF700.

I've looked at the Gumdrop case on Amazon, and from the pix it looks bulky and like it would stick to the inside of my bag.

I am currently using a Moko slim case which is OK, but I really want something that is as thin as possible but still let's me stand it up to watch videos.

Heck Incipio even makes a feather weight shell for the Sony, and I'm sure Asus sells more than Sony. Heavy sigh.

I've kept mine in an Asus Versasleeve since the day I got the tablet with dock and it works great. Doesn't add too much bulk but does a great job protecting the tablet. I tend to set the case on the table, open the flap and fold the other half back, slide the tablet out and open it up while it's still sitting on the sleeve, that way the bottom of the keyboard dock is protected from whatever might be on the table/surface I'm using it on.

Imagine having the tablet open and docked, sitting on top of this.

Overall I really love it (especially for $15). Once I get a keyboard dock I will need to look at some other
options but this would still be great for when not using the dock and it comes in and out of the case easy
enough you could swap between this another case without any trouble.

This is the listing I used
http://www.ebay.com/itm/160888793528?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
Bought it on 10/04 and it arrived on 10/12

Hope this helps.

I'm looking for another rotating case as mine is stretched out... and doesn't stand up well in portrait mode. This listing is too old - does anyone have the key info to find it again? I don't use a keyboard but need a rotating case - welcome any other suggestions to replace my moko rotating case.

Search for these key words on ebay: 360° Rotating Leather Case Stand for ASUS Pad Infinity TF700T

I have been using mine for over a year now and still happy with it. Bought mine originally for about $14USD with free postage.

ASUS Transformer Infinity TF700 TF700T Rotating Cover Leather Case Skin Review

    It's here!!!

    n7ENb.jpg

Overall I am very happy with it. It's a decent shell that cradles the unit with a "leather" that wraps around that. I don't know how
genuine any of these materials are but they seem fine.

    DsRnI.jpg

    qhZfL.jpg

    gOfjt.jpg

The ring in the middle seems to be where all the magic happens. It spins very easily.
In response to rndmnss's concern over the ring scratching the back of the infinity I spun my
infinity around in this thing like a propeller for a bit and after taking it out I couldn't see any
scratches, BUT the way the back of the infinity is polished (those circular patterns) I'm not sure
I would've been able to tell if it was scratching it. I to a picture with a playing card against the ring
to show just how close it really is. If I was really concerned about it scratching I would file just a
little off of the ring. There is enough there it shouldn't mess with functionality to lose a little.
The only problem i had was when using the case as a stand once it sat a little crooked after
looking around i seen that the back hadn't rotated completely. It was an easy adjustment and
    hasn't happened since.

    ySt4E.jpg

I wasn't sure about the edges at first. They look like they were melted to the right size but they
seem to grab the four corners just fine.

    UwTp2.jpg

    QDYjY.jpg

    LTP1l.jpg

The cutouts are good everywhere for me. Volume and Power buttons seemed weird at first but
thats just because i was so use to them with no case. Camera also seems pretty protected.

    1C3Ee.jpg

    HpLpL.jpg

    pQIo0.jpg

There are only two positional grooves in the microfiber instead of three on most. Another one or two
would have been nice for versatility but these work just fine in both portrait and landscape orientations.

The thickness of it also works well. Feels slim yet thick enough that there is plenty to hold on to.

    xWClI.jpg

The case fits tight enough that there is NO room inside i would feel comfortable squeezing a stylus into
it but there is plenty of room to slide the clip on the stylus in the edge. I bend the clip so it would fit
more to my liking (not to hard or soft).

    kqzKY.jpg

Spinning it 180 degrees and closing works great for charging. Without a dock to test with I'm not sure
if there is enough room to plug it into one when in this position.

I like that the part is well covered, for me its the same typing with or without the case.
    2
You might have to do some modifying or something with this one. Looking at the reviews, it is too small for the Infinity. It was originally a Prime case and they, like many other accessory sellers, just tagged the Infinity name to it.

People should be buying cases that are made exactly for the Infinity TF700 as Alithea is saying. We have been waiting patiently at caseen for our cases for the TF700 to arrive [ *shameless* Arriving this week, now taking pre-orders btw :) ]

We made a video explaining the differences of the TF300, TF700, TF201 in clear detail [and why you can't use TF201/TF300 cases on TF700 unless modifications are made in design]. Posted below:

Hope this helps anyone with their search! Our new case has a unique elegant strap that covers the charger port when not in use. Take a look here: http://www.caseen.com/Transformer-Pad-Infinity-TF700_c_49.html

I'm using the TranSleeve designed for the Prime (TF201), it fits well and is actually pretty cool. You have a few "standing" options (movies / typing) etc.
There is TranSleeve Dual coming, which is supposed to cover the Infinity with or without the dock, but it's hard to tell when it's going to be available in Europe.

I got the TranSleeve Dual while I thought I was getting the regular TranSleeve. The Dual one is pretty much useless without a dock.

Sure, you can prop the thing up similar to the regular sleeve, but it feels bulky, and since the tablet is only held in place in the sleeve by silicone stripes (or whatever they are) at the sides, it tends to just slide out of the sleeve. The actual propping up also feels bulky since it's supposed to fit the dock as well and wrap around both when you close them together. Suffice to say, I'm returning it since it's useless to me without the dock.
    2
Can it easily be used without the dock? I have a feeling I won't always want to carry it around...

Yes without the dock its a normal Tablet, i like the dock when i type a lot, or for the extra power.
Further you need the dock when you would like to sync to youre home pc.
I sync a lot between my MS Outlook and contacts. /i don't know if you can sync wireless...
