Any way to make my i9500 an AOSP with 4.4.2?

So far I had notice there are some proyects with unwiz interface or CM, but nothing seem to be working at 100%. Why is this? Is there a way to have a pure AOSP in my i9500? With 4.4.2? If not, why? When should I expect to be able?

There's the CM11 nightlies, don't know how stable they are.
