Hopefully this fixes my firmware issue because I updated to the latest one and my reception has been 1 bar constantly. Wish I had kept the guide to help me flash using ADB since I completely forgot lol. I cant flash this ZIP through clockworkmod right? It has to be done via ADB?

The 1 bar constantly could be the rom you are using not detecting your device and displaying the strength incorrectly. You may still have full strength, just the visual display is incorrect.

For example, I had a problem running ARHD roms with the WWE firmware and had to change a build.prop value to force what region I was in.

Just flashed this, sure glad to be gone with that ugly white screen! Thank you!!

*edit* just notitced my hboot version downgraded to 1.54...hmmm *edit*

Using root explorer, go to ROOT>SYSTEM>CUSTOMIZE>ACC and open up default.xml with the text viewer. Find the lines that say "REGION" and "SKU_ID", they're down towards the bottom. Change the corresponding REGION, mine is 1. Then change your corresponding SKU_ID, mine is 7. Press the 3 dots, click save and exit. Reboot...profit.

does the firmware.zip posted here with 4.20 firmware inside, will it wipe sdcard?

...... Never mind, I guess not, I couldn't wait and took the risk :)

@bcmglone ,
I'm sorry to be misleading...you are correct, but the screenshot shows 4.06.1540.3 because the rom I'm using is based off 4.06.1540.3. You are good to go...sorry for the confusion. I just changed the fw version in android-info.txt for my own benefit. only cosmetic...In the second screenshot, the same thing, I was using a rom based off 4.20.707.6
