This is an UNOFFICIAL port of PhilZ-Touch recovery for SM-T800 chagallwifi and SM-T805 chagalllte (Exynos version only)

NOTE: flashing this recovery will trigger the knox flag and thus likely void your warranty

PhilZ Touch is a CWM Advanced Edition that adds all the features you could ever miss in CWM
It is a well proven recovery for many phones

It also adds a full touch interface a completely configurable GUI

Please give your feedback, what works, and any bug you could encounter
Read the features, and check if you are missing something

Also, do not forget to read about the powerful aroma file manager integration and double tap shortcut

WHAT TO EXPECT:

fully functional PhilZ Touch CWM

WHAT NOT TO EXPECT:

frequent updates
individual requests, but i will listen

FEATURES:

F2FS support (NOTE: as to use F2FS, you will need a kernel that support F2FS or otherwise boot loops may occur)
native EXT2 kernel support (not treated as EXT4)
exFAT and NTFS support

- WARNING: I have NOT tested this since i do not own one, and i even dont know if it is BOOTABLE OR NOT
- make sure you are able to cope with any difficulties after flashing this beta
- by default it should be in landscape mode
- please test and pay attention to the items below:

x and y axis are correct shown and detected by touching and tapping on the screen but not flipped/swapped incorrectly

adb is accessibile under recovery

- it is suggested to look for any feedback from users before installing
- please kindly post a reply if it doesnt boot or produces serious problems so that i can removed the link asap, thank you

- base on stock kenel XXU1ANF8 with minimal changes but unneeded features removed

INSTALLATION:

cwm zip version (PS if your device is with stock recovery, get the tar.md5 version and flash it via Odin)
- put the zip file in your internal sdcard or external sd
- choose install zip in the recovery (cwm recommended, not tested with others)
tar.md5 version
- flash the tar.md5 file via Odin on your pc
- in case for zipped tar.md5 file (xxx.tar.md5.zip), make sure the file name ends with .tar.md5 before flash by unzipping it once

sadly... mostly exynos... havent see anyone with snapdragon version yet.

I think T800 and another variants T805 T700 T705 are running on the same Exynos chipset.

Am a TWRP fan, but will give this a go when (if) you have it working for T705 and feedback when able. Just a bit busy with current projects right now.

just in case he owns one with snapdragon, since some markets are selling the snapdragon variant

and, I may give it a try. but I will quit very soon this time if it fails since I don own one. as you know, it wasn't a good experience before

anyone mind to send me the stock t705 recovery image?

I wanted someone to test it since it has been trimmed and I believe it should work with t805 also, but I have not examimed the partition table yet

btw, you must be using the Odin, right? since the zip version will check for the device model

edit oh yes, forgot to mention. since i have not check with the partition layouts on the t805 yet, backup for efs/modem, etc may NOT work

No bugs so far. Just restored a nandroid backup I made with CWM. All went well, so I think the partitions are right.

I flashed the zip with CWM recovery. It flashed, so no check for the model

how come it let u passed the model checking????

which recovery u were using before? stock one?

it could be, since the one for cm11 is targeted for t800, so inside the build.prop in the recovery, it declares itself as t800 instead of t805. and that's why u were allowed to continue
