Question.
Is it normal that every time I reboot my device the "android is upgrading" thing comes up and loads for a bit? I haven't done anything to the Rom. Fresh install.

Mine does the same. I have issues with Google search crashing sometimes after updating. After reboot it asked my to update google search again, alarm remains silent during the silent profile. Alarm should sound with alarm volume up. Name smartdialing is not working. Thanks for the rom. Att apn should be pta. I did a a clean install twice.

Yes, name smartdialing. It seems other roms have the same problem. I read the issues in their forums. It seems it happened with the latest version after trimming down the rom. The only rom I know it was working good was urdroid. I was using that one before coming here
The latest from taichi91 is broken too. The first release it worked ok

I'll look into the android is updating thing, as for smartdialing it seems as if HTCs update for people.apk might have broke it.. I'll add pta too bur for now you guys are going to add it manually

Definitely, I cannot make Google search work right after updating from the store. Having the same issue with rewire pro. it seems rooting in the system is having some issues.

Could you please look into the alarm, I usually set my phone in silent with the alarm volume up before going to sleep.


On the other hand, battery saver is great. Phone battery has been great.

I am going to clean install and bypass the people update. I know the JB Taichi Rom first release smartdialing was working, second release wasn't

Hello. Just came over to try this Rom out. Great work! I have had no issues so far with alarm,even with phone volume off. Google search force closes but its far from a deal breaker. Gonna use this as my daily driver fora while.

I've confirmed that Google Now does fc, for now just do Google searches via browser. I'll look into why this is happening..

For Noozxoide to work, it seems that the best music player to use is noozy. If you guys would like, I can put in another DSP manager and another music player. I don't think it would affect audio too much

I'll change the apn to pta

For the alarm issue: the alarm is working fine for me, not sure why it's not working for you.. possibly a bad flash? :p

And the "Android is upgrading" message, it's most likely because of Noozxoide and noozy.. I had to completely remove any app that as HTC's audio enhancements so that the acid audio engine could work it's full magic

Cool.. Thanks for looking into it.. I installed the Rom last night and I set the alarm before going to sleep. I woke up because of the vibration but I try again..

I appreciate looking into the issues. Urdroid Rom the smartdialing works okay, it doesn't ask me for any people updates.

I updated Noozxoide from the play store and after reboot it asked me to upgrade the app again. The same issue like Google search

Edit: Forget about the alarm.. I just did a quick test working good..

Does anyone else have problems downloading the ROM?, I got stuck at 99% everytime, so frustrating.

Andoirdfilehost seems to know when you are downloading from your phone and throttles the speed. It takes forever to download from my phone, but on the computer it takes like 2 min.

With an increased workload for school as I'm nearing the end of the school year, I won't have time to maintain this.     Q: Can I flash xxxxx mod on this?
    A: Yes, unless it is a certain init.d script or if it is an audio mod.

    Q: Can I flash ElementalX on this?
    A: Of course! Just be sure to disable zRam as it screws up the Thunderbolt scripts.

    Q: Can I dirty flash this?
    A: No, read the damn OP please :)

    Q: Can I port this rom to another device?
    A: Yes, just shoot me a PM and I'll gladly help! It's always nice to cover more devices :)

    Q: Can you add xxxxx to your rom?
    A: If something is highly requested (and possible to do), I will add it in. I'm always open to what you guys want!

    Q: Smartdialer isn't working?
    A: Only if you select a keyboard other than Sense.

    A: We actually aren't quite sure ourselves :D
