How often do you think you'll be updating it? Or will this be the final build?

I was a little upset to find only 1 alarm tone last night... It was late and I had to quickly backup this ROM and reflash another one just to make sure I could wake up this morning. But I restored that backup so all is well as I add in my own.

And am I missing a way to disable pie controls? Purely out of habit I slide down notifications and when I'm done I slide it back up. I know I can always just hit home button but its just what I'm used to... When I try grab the bottom of the notification window pie comes up and I fight it Lol

Other than that I can't find anything really wrong with this ROM... Very smooth and VERY quick. Nice work OP

Maybe once a week or so...depending on when rootbox gets updates and any major cm10.1 revalation that i can figure out how to pull in.

Sounds are there, it's just not picking them up, Go to change ringtones and search with your file explorer, /system/media/audio... after you do that once it should recognize the rest. May be because i didn't include any music app it never searched and found the music files IDK. Will try to add appolo on next build as well and see if that is the permanent fix.

The pie control thing is interesting though, you are correct I can't turn it off eiither, Root-box uses thier own framework and what not so I'll have to go digging to figure this one out. In the meantime if you turn pie on and set the target area to the smallest setting it makes it a little more difficult to pull the pie controls up.

Root-box has been doing some updates on the settings app, bunch of new commits in the last few days. Im not sure what they are doing but I'm gonna give it a few days to settle out and then resync the repo. Hopefully that will fix pie. In the meantime I set mine for small target size and top gravity and can't seem to pull it up anymore :) Its definitely wonky though. Personally with hardware buttons I don't really care for pie anyways lol

I agree... Its cool in theory.. If the hox buttons would disappear like the gs3 I'd give myself a healthy helping of pie. But its pointless to me on this device. Can't wait to see what the new commits are.

is this build pretty much like it would look like if it was official or does it have extra stuff added?

Can only assume the official would look the same. Only official on gs3 and nexus devices I think right now. On the root box site there's a video on how to setup like on the official XDA pages. Its an icon pack for apex launcher. I didn't theme anything and to be honest I really don't know how to yet. The wallpaper change in my OP is as much as I really ever to to my own.

I should add this to the OP, the only changes I made thus far is switching to the CM 10.1 camera/gallery to avoid the issues bpear had on carbon when he first used the rootbox camera, and removing the latest commits to compile in GCC 4.7 because I couldn't make it compile correctly. Other than that this is straight rootbox sources.

Hybrid settings > paranoid setting up top > interface > set Nav bar to 0%

I tried to set it like that by default but obviously that didn't work lol

It worked for me. It was already gone when I first booted up. Great job on this. Haven't had any real issues since I flashed it.

+1. Everything's really smooth. Gonna try rohan's test kernel tomorrow. Haven't had any issues to this point though.

Anyone else have any ringtone problems? Mine are gone. Maybe any way to download them or something?

Quick update. It looks like the main dev/creator for this ROM, Bajee, is back to working on some things again after a brief hiatus. Official nightlies have resumed. I've updated the OP with a link to the official issues log. No surprises in it, same stuff you all reported. After I see some big issues get addressed (mainly browser fc as my hack won't work to compile in GCC 4.7) I'll try to get an updated build out.

Wanted to take a second here to thank everybody for playing. This latest build just hit 100 downloads, my first one to get that high. Proud moment for new dev :D I know its not really all that many but on an older device with this many ROMs available it still feels good. Hopefully we can get the issues resolved for the few of you still having trouble here soon.
