God GSM is so much better, no worrying about anything just put your sim card in.. If only I could force myself out of my unlimited data plan!
Yeah...unlimited data is the poo. And i use a TON of it! Think last month about 7 million kb..and that's WITH using wifi too. Yeah..I'm not much for human contact lol
Did they ever fix the data drop issue with verizon's nexus. I had one when it first came out and exchanged it twice then got a rezound.
I'm curious about this too. Currently have a Rezound, looking to make the switch, but concerned with what I've read about radio/data issues. Still something to deal with? thanks everyone

At least my 2 cents, I have had virtually no signal issues. Only when doing things like flashing a new rom where everything is wiped and reflashed (baseband too?) do I notice anything, and its quickly eradicated.
As for the conversation relating to GSM and data plans and such, I have to contend that verizon ultimately means unlimited data when they say it. Its nay impossible, even with my old revo, for me to stay under even 40gb a month, and my peak has been 370 (GREAT 4g speeds at home + wifi tether lol) and not so much as a text, email, call, nothin from Verizon about it. Couldnt give up verizon simply for that.

Why not just get a real internet connection if your using 370gb.

My home is in the middle of nowhere, best internet is 5mbps for $60 or so a month, and Im rarely there to begin with. Always mobile, so its the best internet I have, period. I dont have any issues with LTE wherever I am.

Thanks for ruining unlimited data for everyone else.

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus
That was a month, I've used my phone quite conservatively since then, especially considering the problems I had with my old revo. That seems like a bit big of a burden to put on 1 person anyway.
And beyond that, its in the Verizon TOS that they can throttle/temp block data services, etc, if data usage becomes "excessive", so Id like to think they have some kind of control over their network for that kind of granularity.

370 GB!! That's insane! I average about 10-15 GB/month mostly using Pandora and Netflix...
