Unfortunately I think it's the other way around. Please explain your issue then. Are you saying you only want the modem? If so, pull it from the stock Odin file. Extract the modem.bin and flash it under phone in Odin. Otherwise you need to review what you say and make it clear because it's far from clear.

I'm pretty sure it was pretty clear but let me spell it out for you.

This zip is a Recovery flash-able file that will flash the new MJ9 modem AND the wifi fix for people running older bootloaders.

I am currently running CM 10.1 stable release on my Note II with the MC3 modem. I want to flash the new modem but I can not find a flash-able zip of the new MJ9 that does NOT include the bundled wifi fix.

If I flash the above modem/wifi fix zip will the wifi fix that is built in adversely affect wifi on my Note II.

It should not mess up your wifi no. It should only patch wifi for the stock ROMs and not mess with anything else. I haven't heard of anyone having any issues from using it. So you should be good to go. Also as mentioned if you grabbed the stock Odin files you can extract the modem and flash it alone. Or extract it from the zip you posted and flash it via Odin or remove the param.bin from the flashable zip. Either way works.

This ROM doesn't get updated sir. So you must be using a different ROM or you had a bad install from the old build?

I flashed this rom and I am loving it, but I don't seem to have any 4g. Is there a fix for that? And does anyone else have this problem?

Try using a different recovery. CWM seems to always work well for me when flashing aosp.

I originally flashed it with TWRP, but as you suggested I switched to the newest CWM, wiped the phone, and did fresh flash. It still isn't working though.

Have you tried changing your APN settings? Just Google Verizon APN 4G and you'll find the correct settings.

I figured it out. It had to do with my settings through the *#*#4636#*#* menu. It was set to something wrong, but I set it correctly, rebooted the phone and now I have a good network connection. Thanks for your help! :victory:

Progress is being made. My 10.2 builds are compiling OK now. I can flash and boot to the homescreen but anything I try to launch causes a soft reboot.
Mine do the same and I have no cell signal. I think I messed up loading the props. Let me know if you make any progress or maybe slickrick will shine some light on the subject
Pick these 4 commits and you should be good.

Thank you sbrissen for developing for this awesome device and all of our donators who made it possible! None of this would have happened without you guys :)

You will lose S Pen and other Touchwiz functionality if you flash this but here is how you can get some of that functionality back!
    1. S Pen works (try out the app Papyrus as a replacement to S Note, Papyrus does utilize the S Pen button as well).
    2. Air View works (Go to settings, Language & input, check "Show icon when using stylus".
    3. The S Pen button works (Go to settings, Language & input, Stylus gestures, those all use the s pen button).
    4. Pop up browser = OverSkreen from the Google Play Store.
    5. I use the 4.2 Camera on Touchwiz anyway. There are plenty of good camera apps in the market if you want more features.
    6. Multiwindow. There is no alternative, dont ask.
And here's some alternatives to Touchwiz apps (PM me if you want me to add something!)
    Code:

[URL="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.clov4r.android.nil&hl=en"]MoboPlayer[/URL]- It's another very capable, free video player with floating player functionality. Plus its free!

DO NOT USE 20121011 GAPPS OR YOU WILL HAVE ISSUES, USE 20121212 GAPPS.

If you want to downgrade back to a 4.1.x ROM, flash the restore-sdcard-after-downgrade.zip attached below AFTER flashing back to 4.1.x ROM. Your storage situation will be how it was pre-CM10.1 flash. Thanks to madmack for the file.

alright, I'm good with the phone logs. I submitted a change for speaker phone and it got merged so tonight's should have MOAR VOLUMEZ on speaker.

Still working on BT and gps.

and still looking for logs of apps where the mic isn't working.

I'll be starting a cm10.2 thread shortly. For anyone thinking of flashing back to 10.1, not going to happen unless you do a clean install so backup first! A couple databases were updated and cannot be reverted.
