HTC.Elegance-CM7-Theme v4.5.1



This is my first CM7 theme and it is a beta version, have used Androidian theme as a template.The sizes it supports are hdpi and mdpi, did not understand what job it was when I started, so unfortunately mdpi are a bit ahead hdpi but hope to the next version that should be fixed.


Extract the zipfile and place the apkfile on your sd-card and install with a filemanager, or flash from boot manager

There are an awful lot left to do on the theme, Gingerbreads ugly 3G, H icons, etc. + everything else, but this is the first release, has to start somewhere.

nice theme...

just hate that blasted 3G gingerbread icon.

I know you are really busy with developing a stable GB Hero rom as well (which I am using since 1.6) but this shouldn't be too difficult as you already have the icons.

PS: Would it work if you just removed the status bar icons from the theme? I mean, does the theme engine only change the icons that are included in the apk and leaves the rest as they are, or does the apk need to contain all the icons?

Edit: I tested the removing method by removing the wifi icons and it doesn't work, it just doesn't show a wifi icon!!! Plus the whole status bar is completely black in stock GB and IMO it looks better than HTC's slightly gray status bar.

Well I can build a version with stock GB statusbar (only icons+statusbar but transparent dropdown) and the rest remains as it is now, is it that you mean ?
