[ROM][Updated 12.24.11]viperROM Redline v1 | OC Daemon, viperControl, and more!

Do you have S-Off or are you unlock through the HTC unlock method? I think if you are HTC unlocked with S-ON you need to use "fastboot boot" adb command. Tho I'm not sure of the correct syntax for the EVO View. I had an EVO 3D with S-On and that was the only way to boot into recovery, flash a rom, and not get the rom to work correctly. Maybe someone else can chime in here with more info. I only just got my View and I have S-OFF and boot directly to recovery to flash roms.

Why this rom dont wont to flash? Im S-off, GB hboot... I Flashed the rom - got the error
"assert failed: write_raw_image("/tmp/newboot.img", "boot")
E:Error in /sdcard/viperROM_Redline_v1_View.zip

Then i find the post where Kevin says just clear system and reflash, didnt help
What i do wrong? I Clear all befor flashing: data, system, dalvik, cache, then flash. What i do wrong?

Nothing really. The script for this rom is a little wonky. I think there is a fix somewhere in here for it but I'm not sure, something about flashing another rom, doing a factory reset, and flashing this one without rebooting out of recovery

I can say I am truely dissapointed in Viper on this rom. This needed to be address a LONG time ago. (I bought a view just because viper said he was making a rom for it).
You have to flash the rom, reboot then go back to fastboot and flash just the boot.img from the rom zip file. It's a pain in the @ss.

I do not support this build anymore, as I do not have the device. Sorry people, please move to another ROM if you are having issues.

Modifying phone.apk has some consequences.
Best way is rename vdmc.apk in the /system/app folder.
