Anyone else not able to mount internal or external storage in TWRP mount menu?
I am new to all of this but I installed TWRP from goomanager tonight and tried to backup to my sd card, but it will not mount. The readout says E: Unable to mount '/external_sdcard'
This is probably wrong but i noticed when I'm using a file manager my sd card had the path /storage/extSdCard, could that be a source of the problem? Any help here would be much appreciated; thanks.
I have v2.3.1.2
Simple solution. Reformat the shiny new patented exfat card with shiny old (but well tested and not patented) fat32.Everyone is getting shiny new exfat cards. We are looking into supporting EXFAT.
Guys, my sdcard is fat32 and i'm using 2.3.1.2. I have no mount button at all.
ls -la /dev/block/platform/dw_mmc/by-name
cat /proc/partitions
Highly intriguing, I have a 1 month old tester unit that AT&T sent us, a pre-release version to test our software on. And now that the production version is released, I wanted to get this one onto the same page. I tried installing TWRP but it's failing. I was able to install CWM via Odin just fine. I then tried to install TWRP via Odin but when it goes back into recovery, it's CWM. I then tried the DD method, but when going into recovery, still CWM. I then tried using the GooManager method to install the recovery script, same thing, still CWM. Lastly I tried to flash the TWRP zip file using CWM and I get an "Installation aborted" message when it tries.
So I tried installing TWRP 4 different ways on this tester unit and all 4 failed. But CWM installs without issue. I wonder what hardware changes AT&T made within 30 days before this test unit and the final release that's messing up TWRP. Strange.

Only thing I can think of is maybe they changed the partitions. Can you execute the following commands and paste the results:
Code:ls -la /dev/block/platform/dw_mmc/by-name cat /proc/partitions
