Well not really free. You buy GTA San Andreas for $6.99 and you get 2000 Amazon coins($20) to purchase more games. It has been on sale for a few days so get it soon. Basically you net $14 to spend on games now our later.

Slickdeals.com had a post with an Amazon promotion where you got $10 worth of coins by downloading I think five free apps. They were crap apps but it ran at the same time as the GTA promo. So if you did the app promo first you could use the $10 in coins to by the GTA app for $6.99 and get the $20 in coins leaving you with a net of $23 in coins with out paying anything out of pocket.

I too remember this, and so far i have 2600+ coins in my account. Also, just wrote quick python code that browses through all apps offering coins in return and if there is any positive return for the investment. Current, there are no positive investments.
