I know man, I wish I could learn how to do what these guys do with such perfect precision. I know I can learn it, but have NO IDEA where to even begin. These guys are truly skilled devs!

I think the firmware is a patch separate from the ROM so I believe you can flash this and still keep the old firmware. Someone smarter than me can answer this though. Thanks SAC, I love your work and look forward to playing around with 4.3.:good:

Stock rooted MDL here (I know!). I guess I need to hold off on this until there is a flashable firmware update. If I flash this ROM, I'd have 4.3 but old MLD firmware (modem). Might as well wait until flashable firmware is ready or else just accept the OTA. Not sure what the best course is. I guess I could just accept the OTA, lose root, then re-root and flash this?

this is a deoxed + debloated rom ill put up what i removed later guys

also wifi might take a few sec to connect but it works

- added reboot menu working on that before release

- added some extra apps

- added all battery mods and fixes

- enabled couple extra features

- and more but you should see something tomarrow guys

Sacs Custom 4.3 Rom 11-6-13 - sac23 your a tease it is the 5th I wonder how many people will be refreshing there browser every 5 minutes until this drops, I know I'm one of them. :eek:

I heard somewhere that the first release of the 4.3 update had heat and battery issues and a small update was released sometime afterwards. Would this leak have the additional update and is anyone reporting heat issues?

    How to backup & restore with philz

    BACKUP>>>
    go into recovery
    select backup and restore
    at bottom of the list select Misc Nandroid Settings
    at bottom of the list select Process SE Context - JB 4.3 Thanks @galaxys3man30 & @reverepats
    now go back one screen
    (personal choice) select Custom Backup & Restore
    TWRP Backup and Restore
    Backup in TWRP Format
    select all possible options (Backup /Data/Media is not selectable)
    Now select >>Start Custom Backup Job >> (Always TEST your backup be restoring right away... and verifying if it restored properly) best to find out now that it's good than later that's bad
    go into recovery
    select backup and restore
    at bottom of the list select Misc Nandroid Settings
    verify this is still selected...at bottom of the list select Process SE Context - JB 4.3 Thanks @galaxys3man30 & @reverepats
    now go back one screen
    (personal choice) select Custom Backup & Restore
    TWRP Backup and Restore
    Restore from TWRP Format
    select all possible options (except preload cuz it fail stops on that step) & (Backup /Data/Media is not selectable)
    Now select >>Start Custom Restore Job


    How to install

    1. DL ROM
    2. Move to external SD card (as well as ALL pics, anything important)
    3. Reboot into philz recovery
    4. Go into mounts & storage ---> format: cache, data, system & internal (sd card)... do this 2-3 times
    5. Go to "install zip"
    6. Wipe cache
    7. Now "factory wipe to install new ROM" (let it run...)
    8. DO NOT FLASH ROM YET!!!
    9. Reboot recovery
    10. Now flash ROM and enjoy![/COLOR][/B][/I][/U]

    guys heres the deal im trying to get u guys stuff that no one has on there phones i own a shop and do this for u guys on the side really tough to do both i dont get to much sleep so i can deliver u guys a stable rom i dont do this for the money just a hobby

    now the fc on the systemui is my fault not my testers
    i had to restart sytemui from scratch but its a easy fix

    im looking into the brightness issue now

    but no need to complain theres alot of roms out there guys please be my guest

    lets keep it clean and simple on this thread

    please state issue with rom in a respectable way and ill get to it asap ive never let u guys down so..
