* disclaimer, I ‘am only new on android so this procedure might include flaws and perhaps unnecessary or stupid steps. There might be better ways although it worked for me. You have to reinstall your apps. Of course I ‘am not responsible if your device gets bricked. Pay notice you will have to reinstall you’re apps again and probably a redo a lot of settings. Backup your data well
Thanks to kingcedz who got me started.
This procedure will get your radio updated to version 1.06. (at least it did in my case)
If you have installed a custom ROM already you are unable to update the radio version. In my case I had symptoms that for example the Facebook app and Google play did work over 3G even at high speed, but internet browsing was impossible. The radio update solved this.
IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMANDABLE TO UPDATE THE RADIO ALSO. VERSION 1.04 DOESN’T WORK WELL ON SOME OPERATORS.
If you want to do so, we have to go through some drastic measures though. Pay notice again the result will be like a fresh install!
1. Backup all data from your phone.
2. If your bootloader locked, unlock it first.
