@S0bes, the GB zip in post #12 definitely does not work with system version 174.44.9. I only get G, or E, no H or H+.

@tazlooney89, please just one question. How do you change the permissions? I'm guessing that you mean changing the permissions of the apk and odex files after they have been put in /priv-app? Which app can be used to perform the change in permissions?

Just put in a SIM for another carrier and now H / H+ icons have returned. Mod working fine with latest system builds.

Thanks.I applied this on my xt1034. I'm currently in an area with strong umts signal so my icon still shows as 3G, but I did have a brief moment where it showed H+. I live in the Dallas, TX area.

I don't mind them but I already have a separate app with them also showing bandwidth usage which reveals more. Arrows on their own doesn't indicate much. I wanted to try both o)
