Is possible that this mod broke the possibility to use flash in photo with battery above 10% ( this limit is in sebastian kernel )
I'm on 20% and says thst battery level is too low to use flash..

Please let us know about this! Its almost pointless that the phone can record in 1080 since the videos come out looking like ****. Whats the point of HD if it looks like video recorded during the 1980s on VHS??

i have used this mod and when i take the pictures then i just increased the siz and not much quility has been improved..........
but yet its an good effort....
the best way to measure the image quality is that TAKE THE SNAPSHOT OF YOUR HANDS VERY CLOSELY AND IF U SEE ALL LINES CLEARLY IN HAND THEN U GET THE BEST RESULT.....
i got that on sense 4.0 but bad luck on sense 3.6

But if the only way to see that this is working is to check file sizes, is it really worth the additional space for photos? Reducing compression does not affect noise levels and 99.5% of the artefacts are the result of the tiny sensor and image processing/noise reduction - not JPEG compression. There may be some tiny improvements, but the benefits are mainly psychological.
Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that people are trying to improve image quality. At the end of the day though, an 8MP smartphone shouldn't need to save JPEGS at filesizes exceeding that of many High end cameras (IMHO).

So at last I was able to increase bitrate of video recording!
now i have only changed 1080p mode and doubled the bitrate from stock, which gives great increase in quality.

I'm guessing since v1.1 is a higher number thats the one you're referring to?

does this record in a constant fps? stock you cannot move camera and need a ton of light to get a constant 29fps therefore editing video results in progressively out of sync audio
Am I doing something wrong?.. I flashed the zip file but I don't see any changes to the bit rate or the file size, there was mention of delete the camera apk but all I am able to do is clear and disable it... Any advice would be appreciated.
my mistake doesnt read properly..i use this on gingerbread n my fon freezz at SENSATION..anyone know how to revert back??

In future I'll work on 720p too.
True, images are saved from photoshop to have 0 compression on jpg.
this are just printscreens pasted to photoshop. my monitor resolution is only 1400x1050
So i guess the difference is obvious then

I would suggest installing similar camera mod for GB, search this forum.

- Icreased Bitrate in 1080p Upto 40mbps!
- Increased Framerate performance (stability)
- Gallery App Link(button) Fix
- Sligthly Costumized UI to fit ICS more (Maybe postponed to next version)
ETA - 8 April6Alright, I fixed the Gallery link problem with the HQ mod for Virtuous Inquisition. This still has the low-compression + ISO + 20Mbps stuff, but the Gallery button now works.
This is for Virtuous Inquisition only.
