so I have the razr m that has been updated to jelly bean. I love the phone and circles widgete but...
1) the weather doesn't actually pull my "current location" it pulls a town 6 miles from where I am. NO One (motorola, verizon or accuweather) can explain why nor fix it. Is it a petty thing YES, but very annoying. I have all location services selected and even unselected and reselected to see if any changes. NONE. any ideas?
2) doesn't update to well and no refresh button( now on motorola site it shows that with the jelly bean update its supposed to refresh but I can't get it too.
I appreciate all that you guys do to on the forum, What a wealth of information! Thanks in advance for any help you can offer
I've noticed if I have VZW Location Services on in locations it will use the cell tower location for the Weather location. I turn it off and it gives me the correct location. My tower is 5 miles away. The only time I turn VZW Location on is if I am traveling and I want current local weather from the closest tower.
For anyone looking to get your Favorite Contacts widget back after installing the Razr M Launcher, you have to download this Favorites.apk that I pulled from the Razr M dump and copy it to your system folder. Set permissions to rw-r-r and reboot.
Ever since I ran through this exercise, I haven't been able to get the circles widget to work. It used to just say, problem loading widget. I just tried it again, and it came up with this error: "The Circles widget is not supported on 3rd party home screens." It says this "under" the "problem loading widget" message. I don't have a 3rd party home screen, I have the home screen from the Razr M as described in this thread. Any thoughts on how to fix this?
You need open razr m homescreen.apk and locate lib folder, unzip 2 files inside and put in system/lib folder with rw/r/r permissions.
For those who wants favorites.apk, and plus circleconfig.apk and odex, just in case.

As i found out, you only have to install the favorites.apk, the config one doesn't work..DO I need the Odex? or can I just inject the 2 apk's to the system\app?
As i found out, you only have to install the favorites.apk, the config one doesn't work..
inject it manually to /system.
Btw if anybody needs some apk from RAZR M, please PM me, i have downloaded the full dump but not aware what's cool what's not..

Hey,
Everything seems to be working great, thanks for this. Circle widgets always shows an error regarding 3rd party apps, I've tried installing homescreen, circled and weather a few different times with no dice. Let me know if there is anything else simple I can try to fix this.
1. make a copy of homescreen.apk
2. change the .apk extension to .zip
3. extract using winrar or winzip
4. locate the files 'libnative_renderer.so' & 'libtexture_mem.so' inside the folder 'armeabi' under lib folder
5. copy both files to system\lib folder and overwrite any existing files and set permissions rw r r
6. REBOOT
7. Install 3d circles and weather in any order
8 Enjoy!
Working flawlessly on my Atrix 2
