Can't sideload APKs from external sd
I've tried several formats, and several SD card sizes. Turns out that:
- NTFS is supported but in read-only mode
- could not get write support on ext2/3 (still have to test ext4)
- FAT32 works well in read/write
So I use FAT32 in the end, and I can read and write properly on both a 4GB class 4 and a 64GB class 10. Things works fine (bind mounts with FolderMount, emulators can save state to the external SD).
However, whenever I try to sideload an APK from the external SD, it fails with a "There was a problem parsing the package" error message. I have turned on "Unknown sources" in the security settings though. What's even funnier is that I can sideload from an USB pendrive, and if I copy the APK from the external SD to the internal, installation works.
Any idea on how to fix this? Might be related to permissions?
