windows 8 laptop wont transfer certain files

i'm stumped. i have a HP laptop running windows 8 and for some reason my s3 is picking and choosing which files its allowing to b transferred onto itself. i was able to move the modem.zip but not the bootloader or rom. im so irritated i cant stand it. what is going on?!!?!?!
i cant even use adb to push the damned files.

I have had similar issues when the files that i am moving have somehow become corrupt. No matter what the S3 will not accept them. Try redownloading again and see if it works.
