I'm really sorry but I haven't found any process for root your device. I've tried to search outside xda, but nothing more.

Thanks, but unfortunately neither Framaroot nor any option using bin4ry's root seems to work on the A1-830.

It was not actually a root, sorry for the confusion. It only claims the device is rooted, but actually not.

Thanks for the info. I just tried it on my a1-830 that has the newest firmware, and none of the srs rooting methods worked. But the newest firmware isn't in their listed of tested devices. Their list includes build number 1.011.00, but the most recent firmware is 1.014.00. I hope they're able to get it working on the newest version.I found it a few days ago. I am a new member so I am banned from putting up outside links, but you can find the link via this tweet on 18 Jun 2014. All thank goes to SRS Root.Enjoy~
It didn't actually work on 1.011.00 either. I would expect to see a new tweet announcing 1.014.00 and for it to not work also.
