i'm keeping f5 for every 15 minutes.lol
Hi Mike, is the new ROM going to include the new .12 base that seems to have just been released?
i'm keeping f5 for every 15 minutes.lol
and it's really strange that i got flickering and a random reboot with the stock kernel. had no issues with faux's 002beta3/4/5 though...
yup, removed the faux's modules and put back the stock modules from the arhd v6 romDid you remember to remove the modules (from faux's releases) when you reverted to stock kernel?
Yes, you must be right, thanks, will probably give it a tryJust reflash stock arhd and you are back to normal. Probably the easiest and safest way.

Thanks, forgot this app ! Will give it a try before
Sure, was that way on any HTC before One X. But this is Tegra 3, so a totally different technology. That's why in some areas we are still abit in the dark.
Franco r9 has been repacked and added to the kernels thread:

Sorry, noob here. how do you remove kernel modules (is it needed?)?Did you remember to remove the modules (from faux's releases) when you reverted to stock kernel?
after flashing the stock boot.img, i booted into recovery and mounted the system partition, then in my computer cmd, type:Sorry, noob here. how do you remove kernel modules (is it needed?)?
I went from Franco R7 to Faux 02b3, and while I've not encountered any issues, it would be nice to know for future. Google doesnt seem to return any results.
Thanks for the info!after flashing the stock boot.img, i booted into recovery and mounted the system partition, then in my computer cmd, type:
adb shell
rm -rf /system/lib/modules
exit
(don't forget to flash back the stock modules )
nope. you have to extract the modules from the original rom and put them back. or, alternatively, you may install the rom once again with no wipe (and then the other mods of course)Thanks for the info!
As for the stock kernel, would it be enough to flash back to the boot.img that came with ARHD 6.0? There wasn't any modules for stock kernel listed... :|
I posted a zip with the stock modules a few pages back:nope. you have to extract the modules from the original rom and put them back. or, alternatively, you may install the rom once again with no wipe (and then the other mods of course)
Hope it's helpful. Here's one I made last night. It deletes the contents of /system/lib/modules and then flashes the modules folder from the ROM.
Tested on my own phone, but flash at your own risk and backup before flashing.

Q 1: After flashing Android Revolution HD my battery drains much faster. What can I do?
A: Please charge your battery to 100%, boot your device in ClockworkMod Recovery and go to Advanced ---> Wipe Battery Stats. Also see Question 7.

Q 3: When recording HD video, the playback of the clip keeps freezing. How to fix it?
A: This is probably SD card problem. Format your SD card (FAT32 recommended) to gain silky smooth playback.
Q 5: Is there any alternative for SetCPU? I think it slows downy my phone.
A: You can application called No-frills. Remember to check "Allow on boot" option.
Q 7: My CPU load is all the time nearly 100% and in most part it's used by system. What is the reason of that high CPU usage and how can I fix it?
A: Delete your htcsense.com account. It takes A LOT of your battery and CPU usage.
Q 9: I have some strange issues with my ROM that nobody reported before. What should I do in first place?
A: In first place you should check, if the MD5 Checksum is correct. Then flash ROM again and see if the issue is gone. A lot of strange issues can be solved this way.

A: Please check your MMS settings or mobile data connection APN settings.
Q 13: When I listen to music from HTC stock player it accidentally pauses for short time and then keep playing.

A: Please clear data from Google Maps, Clock Widget, Weather, HTC weather sync provider and Weather Provider.

A: It's because you have removed HtcTwitter.apk (HTC Twitter application). Please restore it.
Q 19: When I open up the call screen (where I see the recent calls and callers), the calls won't appear in the list. What to do?
A: Probably you are using 3rd party launcher. Remove the dialer shortcut and re-add it.
You think you're addicted from flashing ROMs, checking forum the whole day and you feel like "Android" should be your second name? Well, here's something for fun
